The industry was abuzz about Meera Chopra being forced to call her boyfriend from Delhi to be with her while the shooting for Ramgopal Varma's film Mental in Hyderabad. However, no one knows the reason for that. We prodded and this is what we dug out - that the culprit behind it was Sachin Joshi. Known to be flirtatious, the actor and producer of the film had apparently been troubling the actress with messages about him waiting for her. A source said, "Meera would ignore them, which only forced made him more persistent and aggressive with her. This scared the girl.'' The source added, "Meera has been friends with RGV for a long time, so she told him about Sachin troubling her with such messages.. RGV conveyed to him that she has a boyfriend, but that did not affect the producer who continued to hound her with his messages. That's when Meera was forced to call her boyfriend. It helped to a certain extent, Sachin has now toned down his behaviour a bit, if not completely."
