Mihika Varma to run for a good cause

The very beautiful Mihika Varma is on a high these days.

The former Miss India winner, who is a talented actress now, is all set to take part in her first marathon event on Women's Day.

The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress has signed up for the event 'I Can Women Half Marathon' where she will participate in the Spirit Run covering a distance of 10 kms.

Sharing her excitement, Mihika said, "I am kicked about the feeling and as I am running for a good cause, that makes me feel really proud. Being a Miss India, I was always active with social cause and have voiced my concern about child labour for years. And for this marathon event, I will be supporting Nanhi Kali, an NGO that works for the education of girl children."

When we asked the pretty woman on her preparation for the run, she shared, "With my parents being health conscious, I have been working out since I was 15-16. But I have started enjoying running in the last couple of years. Since we stay close to the beach, Mishkat and I usually run there, as gym can get boring sometimes. But I will train myself further this week to be able to run for 10 kms!"

"I haven't done any shopping, as I will wear one of my comfortable track suits and a pair of good shoes. I have also got my playlist ready with motivational EDMs (smiles). So I am raring to go and will then hog on food post the long run. I have also informed my production team that I will be coming late to shoot that day," added Mihika.

The actress has also invited her friends and family to cheer her up during the run.
