What wrong with all of you all.

Why people say if Qazi was in other compitation he would not get no where, etc.

1st of all. Those Compitation sucks.
2nd all those that win in those compitation makes me fall asleep. (indian idol's Abhijeet)
3rd of all at least 80% of top singer today in Bollywood are just like Qazi and maybe worst. example Adnan Sami (I am a big fan of his) he may not have the voice, but he is a great entertainment. his lift karade and Kabi nahi were more popular than most of his other tracks.
another singer is Kunal Ganjarwala.
Today this generation people are not interesting, in Lata Mangeskar or Asha Bhosle songs, yes they may be thier Idols,etc. But if today's generation had a choose of a rock song (without sur) and a Lata song At less 99% would choose the rock song.

I live in America and I see white,mexican, and black young generation going wild. Here you can just wake up one day and make your own song CD. That's why our India is different. We have produced talent not garbage.

im sure garbage to one person is treasure to anotha... diff genrez of music doesnt mean they r garbage

India has lot of Lataji, Rafiji, Kishoreji and lots and lots of singing talents. May be they want something different this time. Why not accept it and if we cant lets close our eyes and ears towards those shows and watch something else.

Most of the songs that are playing would not be a song that the singer have SUR. that years are Gone.

by the way I am not saying they can't sing.
they can sing. today the song Ashiq Bana Apne, if u hear this song the singer don't have SUR. But today it's a top seller.

Another Example last year Dhoom Machale was also a top song. I love this song also I love Sunudhi. but this song the SUR was not thier. the song was entertaining.
THAT IS WHAT I AM TRYING TO EXPLAIN.

now away from India let's go America partly all of those singer don't have SUR. But what actract them the singer, his or her style.

There is no diferent generation topics here. Talented singer can be prove to be true everywhere. lata ji has proved that. She has been singing for ages.

Qazi is like puff daddy and Big B...

Here not many people are talented singers. People don't value or worship singing like we do in India. People her white or black have so much respect for indian muscis because of Lata ji and pandit ravi shankar ji. In her news papers and magazines talk about indian music and how it's different.
We should continue with that...not to copy america. X factors is way too important here. Here kids majority of them who go in singing bizz are in for money. They belong to abusive families and have nasty background. Like M&M...he is very popular, but too many things wrong with him.
