Ammi kehdeejiye ki yeh jhoot hain

Today once again Harshad Sahir Chopda spoke a lot. He spoke non stop for 9 minutes 35 seconds. With his silence. Every second of his silence screamed with so many emotions that all I could do was just... try and not blink. Starting from his "Ammi aisa nahi hosakta haina" to the final blow from his ammi as she points her finger at him and says "kisi gair ke haathon kaise jaane deti.."

Read about the episode before I saw it and when I did it was amazing!

What HC said about Sahir feeling multiple emotions at one time was so much in evidence today! In that scene with Alvira there was disbelief,shock,vulnerability,pain,a feeling of being lonely and betrayed...all without one word! He was simply superb! Especially when Alvira referred to him as "gair" that expression was heartbreaking 😭.

Only he can hold us captive and desperate to watch the episode even in such pathetic circumstances where the channel is treating the viewers with such scant regard!

Sony is just...so... 😡 🤬

All I can say is he continues to surprise me everyday with something new... and not for a moment did I think the show was about to end! What a stellar performance even at the fag end! 👏

And those last few minutes held me spell bound. Alvira was talking but Sahir's eyes were reflecting her words. And his one 'Ammi' at the start.. the break in his voice, as if doubting if he could even consider her that anymore, did he have the right to call her that anymore?

When he saw the will everything fell into place in his head... he is a sharp man, he catches on quickly. 👍🏼 He looks up from the file, looks at Arzoo as if knowing how the encounter is going to end... and yet when he questions Alvira, there is still that sliver of hope that the Will was wrong He so wanted it to be wrong... he so wanted Alvira to tell him she was not ruled by that Will... to tell him all the love and support she had showered over the years was not dictated by that Will! Yet, when he heard that yes from her... he know it was all over! He had nothing to say, except stand there and bear the brunt of all the wounds that Alvira was inflicting... the 'Gair' was the deepest cut of all! His look at that instant said... 'Eu tu Brute!'

Disbelief, realization, and primarily hurt in those eyes... in the end just a fatal acceptance when the truth sinks in that indeed he was no one, the last vestige f hope was shattered at that point! The false sense of belonging that he had been ensconced in was brutally snatched away leaving him exposed and vulnerable again. I hope we get to see his reaction tomorrow in the private confines of his room... am sure Arzoo will be with him there. 😃 For once, I'm glad he followed his heart and snatched Arzoo for himself... probably the only selfish act he has done in his life! But thank God for that!

And one could also see the mask fall on his face again... Sahir opened and closed his mouth in sheer disbelief when he heard the word 'gair' and the next moment the shutters fell in place... he suddenly realized that he was not going to show any more emotion in front of all these people who don't care, never cared for him! The desperate hope he had clung to when he came to question Alvira was well and truly banished at that point.
