Is Indian Idol rigged?

This is a question that comes to mind...are these fair results, the best singers are leaving and it seems that the judges have already decided who they want as the indian idol, from the past shows it seems that the qualifications for an indian idol are a) that they should be a mediocre singer; b) have a somewhat pleasing personality. Right from the start Ankita has been favoured by the judges inspite of being a so-so singer. Agreed she is quite free on stage, but as alisha said earlier if they were really looking for just performers , it should be more like a boogie woogie show and not a singing talent hunt ! Anyway this is just my feel. Also if anyone remembers Fame Gurukul, remember Qazi, he was always in the danger zone, couldn't carry off a tune but could dance, and Javed Akhtar supported him every time, and he went on to win. The same support Javed had been giving Ankita , except maybe the last episode....I wonder - Is Ankita on the way to become the indian idol...does she deserve it. Is she really better then Emon ,Amit even Chang? To me she is not , but like i said thats my feel.

Actually...I don't think it's rigged. I think a lot of the time the public just doesn't choose wisely who they should vote for. and even when they do, usually the votes aren't enough

THIS SHOW WNTS AN ALL ROUNDER OR AN COMPLETE PACKAGE UNLIKE OTHER TWO SHOWS

if u compare chang wth raja or abhaas frm other shows he will be placed in an dust bin then puja and deepali compare them wth poonam or sumitra u will know how gud ur deepali and puja r they r just mediocres thts it they dont deserves the thing wht they r getting right now


only ankita is an unique frm the whoile bunch even abhishek and parleen r in same road like ankita .these 3 make indian idol 3 different frm saregamapa and star voice .

ankita ,parleen and abhishek all these r fantastic pereformers + singers

in fame gurukulk ila arun[dean] used to support qazi and not javed .u better watch it and comment 😡

and javed akhtar used to scold qazi like an hell and u r saying he used to favour qazi how can u put wrong statements in public forums ?

maybe you should rewatch fame gurukul cassettes if u have a chance...qazi was the worst of the lot as far as singing goes, ila arun used to favor different singers at different times, but javed was always on qazis side, anyway thats besides the point, to me it seems and i emphasize the point--- that this is my opinion, to which i am entitled as you are to yours! The best singers are leaving the show, Puja has trained from the age of four, as has emon, if you listen to pujas or emons voice and if you have ever studied singing you would realise the minor technicalities which they are capable of grasping with their trained voices, my only question was, is this whole thing already preplanned.Because it sure seems like it.U r entitled to ur opinion of Ankita, but honestly as far as i am concerned she is a good performer but a very very very mediocre singer!

DUDE! Chill out! Don't be that harsh and after all it's a public forum not a Supreme court hearing that you have to be "politically correct". No matter who supported Qazi, the point is he won inspite of being not an awesome singer but a good performer, which; by the way appears to be the sad future of Indian Idol..😭😭

puja is trained nearly for 14 yrs and ankita not even 6 months but she learnt every thing aftert she came in to top 28

hey i wathced each and every episode of fame gurukul no way javed always scolded qazi yaar not favouring he scolded him like an hell


and ya ankita if she is rained she would have been 10 times much better thn deepz and puja and she is untrtained and she came till her etht too defeating nbearly 50,000 ppl in auditiomns then she came to top 5 and she defeated puja and deepali who took neartly 10 yrs training but dint go beyond ankita

"ankita is an struggler sony gave negative publicity and judges scolded her in an too rude way even though she stood bravely and is in the compertion till now inspite of tht many negative points

Ankita was brought back by the judges....and that too as an additional wild card, she had been voted out! Besides training there is something which is god gifted, it is known as talent,which emon, puja, deepali,even to some extent actually amit who is an untrained singer have.It is sad but Ankita has a talent for performance not singing.Plus you have to give credit to someone who has dedicated so much of their time and energy towards a passion and trained, if Indian idol is really for novices then maybe that is how they need to select from the start.My only point and i stress again is that Ankita is a very very very mediocre singer, is that what II3 is looking for...history has abhijet sawant mediocre singer, sandeep acharya, mediocre singer and now maybe ankita, who knows. Maybe its best that the best are leaving this show, as it is not really out for that talent.

Both Amit and Ankita are brought back by judges, and they are able to come so far. This means, the judges were able to find right people.
