There's one difference you see..Jaya was a fantastic actress,one of the most talented of all time,and was definitely THE best actress of her time...She was infinitely better than Sharmila Tagore,Hema Malini,Zeenat Aman etcetera...Her retirement was truly a blow .... 😭

Ash was never a great actress to begin with,and she isnt actually calling it quits,is she??..She just doesnt want to do roles which might embarass her in-laws,and in all honesty,even if Ash decides to quit movies for good,it's not going to be a really big loss....There's no comparison between Jaya and Aishwarya.Period!

thas so tru ..and y shud she ..cuz shes a gurl cuz thas wats expected from them..liek she can't do anything revealing or liek romance scenes..yet the guys can liek abhishek and amitabh do..thas a bit unfair..liek all it is is acting..i wud totally understand if she felt tha way..like i guess no matter how modern u r thurs still tha sort of indianess to ppl esp. gurls...but still look at shabana azmi ..i luv her for her wits.. as she stands up for wat she believes in ..she is truly herself and no one else..and jus cuz shes married doesn't mean she has to give up acting ...hopefully she continues..
