In a record breaking night for Colors, the channel delivered the highest ratings ever for three of its fictions between 19:30 - 21:00 on Thursday.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, Sasural Simar Ka' at 19:30 raked in 152,400 viewers - just behind Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' on Star Plus, which got 159,900 viewers. Udaan' at 20:00 clocked up 165,600 viewers beating Tu Mera Hero' on Star Plus, which managed just 87,500 viewers, while Shastri Sisters' at 20:30 delivered an impressive 160,100 viewers - trouncing Nisha Aur Uske Cousins' on Star Plus with 89,500 viewers. It is not clear what enticed such a massive hoard of viewers to tune into the three shows, which normally average around 50,000 viewers. In contrast, the usual Colors toppers Ashoka' and Code Red' proved disappointing in the ratings last night strangely.
On Star Plus, the most watched show was Diya Aur Baati Hum' with 174,800 viewers at 21:00, followed by Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' and MasterChef India' with 140,000 viewers.
On Rishtey, Laado' was the most watched show on the channel with 80,100 viewers, followed by Meri Aashiqui' with 58,800 viewers.
On Life Ok, Savdhaan India' took pole position with 35,300 viewers at 22:30.
On Hum TV Europe, Mehram' ended with 72,100 viewers at 20:00, while Susral Mera' raked in 66,300 viewers and Parsa' at 21:00 with 46,700 viewers.
On Geo TV, Saltanat-E-Dil' was top at 20:00 with 13,700 viewers, followed by Piya Mann Bhaye' at 21:00 with 13,600 viewers.
