as for sms voting... i heard from orkut that if you have a tata indicom phone you can buy a sms card or something for 30 rs. and it gives you 1000 sms... if you have such a phone or know anyone... that might make voting more affordable... as for voting from us if u buy a calling card... which number do you call?
