i watched last two episodes today..did not have to ff much other then the boring pandit scene!..but i still am not impressed!..it might be a welcoming change for akhda fans that the leads are getting enough screen space but was such over dramatization necessary?..and here i am talking about jalal's characterization!,,he is supposed to be 40 plus but his behavior of a maniac is shown as if he is a teenager or in early 20s..at the 40 plus age the energy level is not at its zenith that one cannot take actions without thinking..a person becomes more sober and patient..well what can i say all this dramatization is being done for trps but is trp janta so dumb that they will accept such overnight maniac avatar of jalal?

although rajat is actor par excellence still his characterization needs to be toned down and should not look overdone..would love to hear what you all have to say..btw i am liking jodha's characterization in this track..it is subtle and there is no lecture but fear and support from a wife's point of view!

Jalal is behaving like a maniac person, not in his sences. Mano ek dam sae kisi nae jadoo manter kar dia ho... There is no justification of his so extrem behavior at once ... This shows immaturity of creative team.

i think cvz have gone in the maniac mode!..akbar had so much tehzeeb especially in public appearances..the way he is talking to awaam it seems as if a jaahil ganwaar is yelling like a belagaam ghora..it is not in sync with Akbar's character and that also in mid forties..is he going through any mid life crisis😆

Fictionalized History or Documentary so there is the difference ,drama is necessary but then to what degree , there will definitely be discrepancy to the degree which the CVs want to show and which the viewers want to see.

In the sixteen century physical fitness and alertness was also one of the main requirements as wars were fought by kings even at a very old age (history is replete with such examples) as much of mental ability the capacity to rule both by brawn and brain is needed. It is not like the contemprory period

I also liked the episodes and all characters are required as long as the leads are not ignored or made dumb but its good to see the leads are back and tracks based on them are shown.

putli, sorry if i spelled ur name wrong!..dramatization is necessary for the daily commercialized soaps..but as you said to what extent..yes, there should be a limitation and the characterization should be justified..akbar was robust even in his mid forties but he was definitely not stupid..he might have had his differences with his gems at some point but the scenes should be bit toned down in the sense a bit subtle but with the intensity of dramatization..i think the director needs to work on that with the actor as to me as a viewer the characterization and sudden change is out of sync!

I would not like to insult the TRP junta as all seem to call them as being a media person I realize their importance in getting business for the shows. Without the TRPs good produced shows also can sink and stop. other wise all can watch the history shows where history with just a pinch of drama is shown. though the shows there also have their own audience.
It is not just the aunties who watch or make or break trps of the shows but you be surprised to see the total TRP data which has tables for different age, sex ,all India, regions ,timings, days ,weekends entertainment ,news etc I myself see different tables which show different ratings .

After all the PH, Channels, the CVs cast and crew all get their bread and butter from the TRPs and do not wish anyone to go out of their work . Though all will get work somewhere or other where again the same rat race will continue between the channel, PH, cast and crew and the viewers

putli, i kinda am not imressed by the trp numbers of the shows that make no sense are so high on the list but the ones that make some sense are at the bottom and that is why none of the producers are encouraged to give the quality product as all are there to make money and that is why not just me but most of us get mad at the trp janta!

and the interesting fact is that the trp numbers are not to be relied upon as someone told me that these numbers are collected from the people having legal connections but what about those who have illegal connections and many use net for watching the show what about those numbers..and that is why there was a talk on making the system digital just like in western countries!

..Aina wohi rehta hai chehre badal jaate hain...

this line of a song kept ringing in my mind when i saw JA epis after long time..and here i was thinking Akbar is one and his portrayal has been treated in many ways but the essence of this great personality should remain..even salim who realized after his father's death that his father was really great indeed who took care of so many responibilities with such finesse and here is salim jiski tibri tight ho gayee after wearing the crown😆
