this person who said she shuld toughen up is stupid. Having a fear of snakes, spider, water and things like that is very real and normally psychological.
Sometimes the fear is so great and rooted deeply in one's mind that even looking at a picture of what you fear can make you melt down and almost crawl into a fetal position. Like how people are scared of clowns, the ones whose faces are coloured white.
People (such the one who said that the veterean acctress needs to toughen up) should really think before they speak or perhaps not even talk about things that they obviously don't know anything about.
Phew! I just feel so astonished at the comment of that quoted person.
