Didn't Shiv show his mahaanta on so many occasions? Like calling off his wedding

Then calling Anop papa just to keep family togather

The last one the terrorist attack when the police and everyone was there he put his life at risk

So why doesn't that piss you off?

For the record I don't have selective bias.

I am perfectly fine with Shiv putting his life at risk and accept it as part of his nature just like I accept Anandi and her willingness to jump in to help others and not caring for her life.

Whether it is Shiv or Anandi I don't differentiate between the two.

From what I could see the writers made both Shiv and Anandi alike they think alike and act alike they are motivated by the same things.

It was very clear when they wanted a new man in Anandi's life they created someone in the same mould as Anandi so that he will understand her and accept her as she is

I guess it requires a heart and mind like Shivraj Shekhar to see and understand and appreciate Anandi

Shivraj Shekhar is no 1 fan of Anandi😛

Both Shiv and Anandi put their lives at risk to save people and while one is applauded while the other is called foolish when the intentions behind the acts are same.

The question which nobody is answering is if Anandi fought a terrorist and lost her life would people have saluted her ?

The answer is no . At least not in this forum.

Why such bias against Anandi? It is simply because she is a woman from village who ended up being a wife a collector?

thats the issue...anandi is not putting risk on herself alone...she chose to take her daughter in the trouble...did shiv did that?

shiv's calling off wedding seemed sensible even if sacrificing

shiv thought anandi was still in love with jagya and admit or not anandi did nothing to help us not doubt her feelings

besides its a bit rubbish to compare shiv's calling off wedding with saving a child marriage or fighting terrorist...whats the point of fighting something when u think it does not belong to you?

shiv and anandi are alike in thinking but shiv definitely has better and sensible ways of handling it.

i'm not against anandi ssving child marriage, i'm against her taking Nandini with her

@libs going by what is "shown" in the show...The case is that the mother of the girl is pleading in front of Anandi to take her to wedding venue which is 60 kms away from the present spot...Just because Anandi had a driver & car.

And even after seeing the condition-situation of the woman...Anandi is in thinking mode JUST bcoz she knows that helping the woman will mean a 60 km travel back & forth with her already sick months-old daughter...

But NOT agreeing to the woman ...or to wait for some other vehical to give a lift to the woman... will mean a completed-done child marriage of her 4-year old daughter.

Had Anandi encountered any such woman, alone without her kids with her...she wouldn't have wasted a single moment thinking about it and would have took the lady right away to the wedding venue.

But here as of now ...atleast as per yesterday's episode...she has no choice but to take Nandini with her.

& My views are subjected to change as per episode's happenings😊

Why would she expect that something would happen to her child?

The child is with her.

As for the way it is being shown - That village is far away and not much time left she either leave the woman to her fat and go home with her baby or take the baby along with her and help the woman.

When somebody who is so helpless distressed you expect her not to help?

She helped people who hurt her and harmed her and this lady on the road is helpless

You expect Anandi to turn her back on this lady?

Discussion in this thread has gone for too long. I could not see the posts because I remain busy during day in my job and come online only during morning and evening.

I don't think people are so biased that Shiv will be praised for the same thing for which Anandi will be bashed. This comparison should not have come up. I remember even Ganga was criticised on similar track. In fact people assumed that Anandi will be bashed and then other people expressed why it was foolish act etc.

Somehow, the tracks are getting repetitive. For so long Anandi has been stopping child marriages. For quite some time - they will show the mother is opposing child marriage (in reality it hardly happens). Let us see what we get to see today. The precap was not convincing - how the mother was going to reach 60 km that day? Why she was away when she knew the child is getting married and she was against it? Whether Anandi drove with the lady (and her Nandini) straight away or she actually called for help from authorities. Creatives themselves have shown the law part - child marriage - even if happened can be annulled easily - can be reported and the concerned parties punished. Then why they come up with such ridiculous idea? If they wanted Nandini to be kidnapped - it could be done by anyone - even the beggar gang. Serial's name is balika vadhu - but that does not mean that till the end of the serial they have to show bal-vivah.
