I don't know if Manik remembered Nandu telling him on that drunk night that she needs to change into her night clothes and do a couple of other chores before she can sleep. The fact that she was still wearing the gown of the night before should tell him that she hasn't slept the entire night. Maybe that is why he had that inscrutable expression on his face before she broke his thoughts by mentioning that she had come there to speak to his mom and not to him. Hence that angry shout for juice.
