So he finally confessed. "I can die for you, but I can't kill anyone". Valentines came to a destructive end as he mocked her tears, his gifts that she stood wearing and then simply turned away his pain-filled face amd showed her the way out of just not that room which held the weight of his shattered trust in her trust in him, but also his heart and iinner-consciousness. Was it correct for him to wish her with such harsh sarcasm. To greet the greeting of valentines with such pin-pricking severity. For some it may be no but for me it was a yes. Those last, ticking moments just before the fire of hatred engulfed the fire of love that she had ignited within him, seemed to be the longest moments for nandini. But they weren't long enough. She didn't get time to pour her heart out... she didn't get the chance to save that flickering light of love that was once capable of destroying any kind of negativity that would dare to touch even her shadow. She didn't get time to save him from drowning into the darkening depths of this ocean where he was heading for hibernation. He only gave her enough time to experience the rough hold of his hands on her arms that tugged her closer as if they were giving her one last chance to inspect every inch of his body, his soul, his heart, his eyes and testify whether he could be the murderer she thought he was. He only gave her enough time to recall all the times she promised Herself to him and that she would belong to him and only him and he would belong to only her. "You were supposed to shine for me"... he only gave her enough time to regret the idea that no matter whether it's day or night, stars were always supposed to remain in their spot, shining and reflecting back the light that they can capture from their surroundings. He only gave her time to realise that how could she have forgotten to shine when her sky was right beside her. Holding her hand and shedding off his light of love and trust onto her... expecting her to reflect off that same light at the magistrate's office. So she cried. Because she thought she didn't get enough time to be able to express her fear of losing him, the fear of lying and being caught and him having to pay that price of going to jail, the fear of spending another day without his physical presence in her world. And the tears didn't stop flowing. Not until to the point she realised he gave her more than enough time. He gave her enough time to realise that the blunder occurred because she listened to her mind, whereas the heart was the one worth listening to. He gave her enough time to realise that the blunder occurred at the point she let Nyonika's evil games overshadow the bright light she was capable of shining to bring her love back home. She realized he gave her enough time and reasons to make her believe why he loved her more than himself and that the only way she would be able to destroy this monsterous fire of hatred once and for all is when she begins to love him more than her dilemnas, more than her stubborness, more than her adamancy of always telling the truth, more than her naive nature of falling in other people's traps.
She realised she hasn't lost. They haven't lost. He gave her hope. His hatred was her new hope. Had it been a silent, unattended valentine, there would've been no hope. But he came. And yelled. And cried. And yelled. And pulled. And yelled. And weeped. And yelled. And mocked. And yelled. And pushed. And yelled. She saw him tranform, she was the reason he transformed, but she realised in whatever time he gave her before temporarily parting ways with her, he gave her her ultimate valentine present. He gifted her his hatred. The hatred that brings with itself the unconventional promise of never leaving her for herself in the days to come. The indirect warning of having his grey presence engulf the life out of her life in such a way that no longer would she be able to distinguish as to where his life begun and hers ended. The unavoidable weight of his painful heart which was soon going to be the cause of the tsunami which would destroy any boundaries that would protect her from his angry, bloodshed eyes. The uninvited invitation to peaceless hell which her monster was now going to sew for her. So she wiped her tears and stood tall. Now it's her time to gift him his long awaited valentines gift. It's her time to extinguish this fire of hatred using her tears of love and shawl of trust. It's her time to kiss, seal and heal away the wounds that have found a home in his heart. It's time for her to use her heart to defeat the woman who doesn't have a heart at all. It's time for her to shine the brightest as never ever has her love lost himself in such darkness. It's time for her to yell and tell the whole world that manik and nandini mean true love because wherever there is true love, fireflies always shine. It's time for her to sacrifice a bit of herself to tell him that she loves him more than she loves herself
Hope you guys liked it
