Maaneet leaving alone from past five years, both are separated but not take the divorce, something happens in past, i.e. the reason of separation...
Maan shift to New York forever, he doesn't want to come back india ... but due to daadi wish, he come back india for opening of charitable school, colleges on his birthday date... but past never alone him, heremember on his birthday he lost the trust on geet, bitter truth come in front of his eyes...
After opening, he come to delhi, & meet with abhimaan & mehar in mall on mother's day... Seeing both kids he feel attachment with both kids... again geet words rings in his ear, geet never want child...
He wants to go back New York, but daadimaa not left any option in front of him... Daadi decided now anyone not go back new York & give two option to him , take geet back in this house and own life or marry with shagun...
Another side geet lost her mind state...she leaving like corpse...her body is mevoing but her heart stop to feel anything...after seeing him on Tv...he coming back to india...first time she feel some movement after lefting her alone ...she wake up from deep sleep and crying own fate she not feel or share any movement with own kids (mehar & abhimaan)

Past
Rahul & geet both is childhood best friend and both families too are good friend... Both want to go ooty for training ... rahul for doctor training & geet for fashion designer...
But both families put condition in front of both, firstly both get married then going somewhere... both families start searching partner for both ...
Geet & rahul take out solution of this problem and both left for ooty , both parents arrange house for both , parents paid only down payment , further payment or installment paid by you both...
Geet start working with famous designer Anjali , each year Khurana's hire some designer from trainees.. geet also participate in this competition , on final day she arranging some pieces and climb on stairs, before she fall , he caught her ...
I.e. first meeting of maan - geet ... both lost into each other, for further embarrassment ,she shout on him ... after realizing he is Maan Singh khurana, she feels , now her dream work with top company never fulfilled... MR. khurana never select her designs...

But at end, maaneet become again together ...
Both start liking each other, love each other... but both never said to each other...

Time passes out; maaneet relation became strong day by day. maan want to meet her parents, but geet always make excuses ..
Due to some work, maan going back to delhi ...he assured her, he talk with daadi soon & tell all thing...
Geet arrange some surprise for him & before departure both became one, two bodies become on soul...

This story start from maaneet happy married life... now both complete 9 years of marriage... Maaneet have two children Mehak & Aryan... Mehak is 7 yrs old and Aryan 5 yrs Old... both want to wish Happy anniversary to each other, spent few moments together.. But time gives responsibilities too... Maan want to take her into arms and wish her, but geet is busy in morning duty (bacho ko tyaar krna, lunchbox, etc...). Maan get call from office, he also left for office early... One side Maan is busy in working & geet try to wish him...
Both want some time for each other, but increasing responsibility creates invisible distance between them...
His or her family gift on this anniversary "Time" ... yes ... family gives time as gift on anniversary...
Geet waiting Maan at farmhouse... and maan not know about this, his dad do message to him , but he is so much busy in work then he go for shopping for family, he reach house and see no one in house, he get angry on geet , she also not tell to him, here he come early for spending time with her, and she go outside with family on dinner and not tell to him also... but his heart not ready to accept this her geet not tell her, he check the phone and see his phone is off and after charging he check dad message...
Geet tries his phone but his phone coming switch off. She felt little hurt, and lost into remembering old beautiful moments which both spent here... in this house, two body become one soul in every manner...
Maan reach late night around 11 P.M., before ending this beautiful day, both wish each other, and spend quality time with each other...
Next day, at afternoon both came back at house...
Vicky (Maan younger Brother) also came back at house from foreign ... he is so close to geet ... for geet he is younger brother, she always want brother .. And after marriage he gets brother in vicky...
And for vicky , geet is his best friend, best bhabhi..

Kahani ab tak
Maaneet relation already facing many problems ...then sam comes back in his life... and he knows about sam disease, she never cheats him...she left maan for only him...
His heart & mind already trap in many situations...one side sam & other side geet... he don't getting what's a right...he not believing after going sam, he close the heart for forever, so, how geet come or make place in his heart... In this situation he hurt geet many times , sometime he knows about this or some time not...
But in reality he never wants hurt geet, but, he also not want to give false hopes to her...
Another side, geet heart breaking each moment due to his ignorance, rudeness... but she always console own self... one day his heart recognize her... but after hearing maan words to sam or know about his first love, she break fully...now she want only his happiness...if his happiness with sam, so she ready to left...on his birthday she signed Divorce paper as his birthday gift & left khurana mension ...
Maan is so angry on geet due to her divorce decision... why she not shows her right on him... Why she not asks questioned to him...only Divorce paper has solution?
He know, he never fulfill husband duty, but he also never want geet go...his angered, his helplessness increased after knowing geet share this importance decision with adi & pinky...
In all of this, maan find about Vicky too, he doing work in some restaurant as manager... Vicky come back home on satyanarayan pooja, he shocked his bro Maan married with some geet but not sam...why this happen ...he want know...
On maan birthday, annie & arjun Rathore engagement happened...maan have no problem with this realtion...he is happy for Annie...
Vicky makes understand to maan, why geet left...if he not seen her with any other one, so how geet bear this...
