Hello Peeps!

So we kicked off the week with Sahir, waiting impatiently in a very red looking restaurant with a bunch of red roses, sitting on an uncomfortable looking red chair for his Arzoo to turn up. All arrangements have been made, its gonna be a romantic evening for SaAz. 😳

In walks Arzoo and calls out to her Mr Husband', who turns around, all mushy eyed, ready to try his hand at a bit of romance. 😉Alas, he gazes at his lovely Arzoo...oh no..she's also in red and oh no, she looks just like Zeenat!!! Sahir's face goes from labrador to bull dog! Romantic evening cancelled and its time to go home! 😲 But not before a SaAz showdown. 👏 A great set of dialogues exchanged between the two at this point. Like the part where she says, don't i look nice? And he replies with a flat nahi'...LOL...anyways, lovely thing about the scene was after Arzoo says that I dressed as Zeenat because when you saw Zeenat like this, you kept staring. Sahir goes straight from angry to emotional, suddenly realising his wife is feeling insecure...he moves his hands onto her arms to comfort her and ends up telling her she could never be like Zeenat. He meant one thing of course, she understood something else and off storms Bhabhiji #2. 😭

The great thing about this couple however, is they have now really grown up. You see that in the next scene where Sahir follows Arzoo out of the restaurant because he realises he has upset her and wants to make amends immediately. When he meets Arzoo, she also talks to him, though annoyed. These two would usually walk off in opposite directions, creating a larger rift.

We then get a really cute scene between the two where Arzoo forgets about Sahir's OCD and asks him if he needs an invitation card to get into the car. Once she realises why he isn't getting in, rather than chiding him, she goes over and opens the door. They even apologise to each other, followed by a cute exchange where Arzoo uses her trademark language saying she isn't Aasubaaz'. Anyways, so all settling down when who do we see happily sitting in the middle of the road, but none other than Zombie Zee...man, this woman gets everywhere!😆 Arzoo knocks her down and out SaAz come to have a look at the damage. ACP Rathod also happens to appear at this point and Sahir says he was driving to save Arzoo. ACP R asks him to prove he drives as his understanding was that he hasn't driven in 7 years. Sahir takes on the challenge. Another great scene follows with Sahir determined to overcome all his phobias, so gets into the car, touches the steering wheel, gearbox and drives! Again, great acting by Harshad here, capturing the feelings of someone suffering from a phobia very well. Arzoo is taken a back and we get self talk from her on how Sahir is even driving a car, just to save her.

Next up is the bangle scene for these two. Arzoo is upset that Sahir never bothers with his own happiness and why did he take the blame for driving the car. She openly expresses how no one in this house loves him and they only used him and now they don't need him so they want him out. Arzoo describes their relationship like the broken bangle. Incomplete without each other so she can't bear to lose him. Sahir nicely responds telling her their relationship is like this bangle, beautiful but not that weak to just break. 😳👏

So next we move onto the SaAz scene of the week where true feelings come flooding out, all thanks to a mug of hot chocolate! 👏

Sahir finally clearly articulates what he thinks of her..she is HIS and she would have to come down from lofty heights to be like Zeenat. Sahir lets slip that Zeenat never even served him water. He wants to change the subject, but Arzoo isn't going to let it go this time. We FINALLY get info on what had happened between Zee and Sahir. In summary, Zee had grown tired of him, she didn't love him and wanted a divorce.

Now what follows is a lovingly executed scene. Sahir has finally opened up to Arzoo, a massive step for him, leaving him feeling very emotional and perhaps like that 23 year old he once was. Arzoo is shown taking control, being there for him. She wipes HIS tears this time, she reassures HIM this time, she reiterates HER commitment to him. They are now not only humsafars but now humdards. You may share your life's journey with a few, but you will share your life's pain and sorrow with even fewer and in Sahir's case, just one. Why? Because sharing your pain exposes your weaknesses, your vulnerabilities, the chinks in your armour. In the wrong hands, it can be fatal. So when you trust someone enough to share this, it creates a special, unbreakable bond. 😳 ...Of course, then we get spellbinding foreplay...very romantic, very sensual, very beautiful. I will never tire of saying how amazing the chemistry between these two really is. They look like they were made for each other. Sahir's love is intense, passionate and bold, making the normally tough Arzoo go weak at the knees. Arzoo's love is pure, compassionate and honest. All the things that make Sahir melt for her. But then we get a cheeky surprise where Arzoo unbuttons his shirt ;-)...i loved that they put this in because it shows that Arzoo bhi kuch kum nahi 😉 (you go tigress!). I did think Arzoo was a little too covered in this scene, but Harshad more than made up for it with a full display of his exceptionally well chiseled torso. The muscle definition on his arms, the way Arzoo's hands moved across his chest bringing focus there and yes..THAT BACK...phew...what a back..very impressive to say the least. It is safe to say i enjoyed this scene and shall be re-watching it often 😉

Then we come to the final SaAz scene of the week..the playful and sweet poolside scene. I have to say i really enjoyed it.It is so lovely to see their relationship blossoming. The once lonely SAC, who would have had no one to come home to, finally has someone to share his thoughts with, to offload his stresses, to laugh with, to make him forget his worries. Aaja piya' was an interesting choice of song...totally threw Sahir off at the beginning (as it did me, i was thinking, yaar, kya karne walli hai ab??)...but then i think it was nice melodious music as they laughed together. And in all of this, he shares with Arzoo how Zeenat was having an affair with someone. The final part, where he lays his head on her shoulders is just another gesture, showing the comfort, love and security Sahir now feels when he is with Arzoo. I liked the bit where Sahir is telling her he doesn't want to make her sad and Arzoo mentions to him, you should have thought of that before you married me'...it made me smile...as we know, he did think about it, a lot..the internal conflict made him go wild...and for all his unselfish ways and sacrifices Sahir made in his life, this was one single time where ultimately he took his destiny into his own hands and fought for what his heart needed and was craving...Arzoo. This marriage is indeed the cause of all the issues that are going on. But I am sure, in Sahir's heart, it is, and always will be, worth it, for the wonderful moments he has had with probably the only person in this world who cared enough to love and understand him.

A beautiful SaAz week to say the least!!! 😳

Now onto the story progression. Once again a great week from this perspective as well. We are really getting some tight screenplay at the moment and the episodes are really enjoyable to watch. So what have we discovered this week?

  1. Alvira is Zeenats step-mum and KA appears to have been Zeenats aaya from the beginning, possessive about Zeenat hence likely not really allowing step mum and daughter to have a close relationship.

  2. Alvira is likely out of the suspects list. The Anam slap, the apology to Arzoo seems to point towards a well-intentioned Alvira.

  3. ACP Rathod - is he actually an ACP or just acting? He knew a little too much about Sahir and Zee 7 years ago. Likely he was the guy Zee was seeing 7 years ago perhaps.

  4. Sahir has put his thinking cap on and made good progress in solving the mystery. He recalled Zee was talking to a Anu' just before her accident. This turns out to be Anam so his suspicions are on her right now.

  5. I think KA is out of the frame as well. Sure, he wants Arzoo out and Zeenat in, but she doesn't know about Zombie Zee not being a Zombie.

  6. Zee is shown as being very much awake, busy eavesdropping on SaAz.

  7. Seems like Sahir is a custodian of the property, business etc and it all actually belongs to Zeenat.

Key thing Sahir needs to discover now is that Zeenat is very much so part of the conspiracy rather than being a victim of it. Once he gets that nailed, its game over. But Zeenat is certainly no fool and will be interesting to see what she has up her sleeve for keeping SaAz apart. She's a nasty piece of work. She didn't have issues having an affair herself, but cannot handle Sahir finding happiness with someone else. She wanted to keep him pining for her and it hurts her ego that he has moved on. But she will soon learn that she is not dealing with that kid Sahir anymore, but the shark, SAC. Manipulating him and hurting Arzoo isn't going to be as easy as she thinks.

So as viewers, what's left for us in order to have a satisfactory completion? For me, there is one key unanswered question - Who is Sahir Azeem Chaudary?

We actually know nothing about this man yet. Where was he born? Where did he grow up? What happened to his parents? How did he end up marrying Zeenat? I think this is one of the final things he needs to open up on.

I would hazard a guess that the same way Alvira brought Arzoo into Sahir's life, it could be she brought Sahir into Zeenat's. Sahir mentions often that he never disobeys Alvira. Could be it was Al's wish he married Zeenat, hoping that the marriage would bring much needed stability to Zeenat's life and make her a better person. This didn't happen and instead it ruined Sahir's life. Could be, out of guilt, Alvira decided that that she would make amends by remarrying Sahir to the kind of girl he deserved.

I'm also interested to see how they end this. Kind of imagining, Sahir getting a divorce, hands over everything to her and walks out of NH with Arzoo to start a new life with her, far away from all of this madness!!! 😊

And oh...need to see consumation and a proper chumma too!!! 😆 Bring on the next week!!! 😊

On my laptop now 😃
The date epi did highlight how far the couple have come from their 'mujhe farak nahi padtha' days 😆. I loved Sahir's comfort levels when he asks her 'how do I open the door?' And his driving the car is as big a moment as him taking the bullet for her. It is a phobia that has grown in his head and heart over the last 7 years and to set them all aside so that Arzoo is in the clear... that was just so loving.
And yeah who knew Hot Chocolate was so potent and he didn't even take a sip. I think the next time she should make him drink it and kya patha... they may go beyond foreplay. 😆
Ok so here I am going to take the liberty to post something I had sent earlier to Suvi. It is from the net and offers the definition of love...

Literary history is as strewn with colorful attempts to define love " including someparticularly memorable ones " as modern psychology is with attempts to dissect its inner workings. But perhaps the most powerful and profoundly human definition I've ever encountered comes from Czech-born British playwright Tom Stoppard's 1982 play The Real Thing (public library) " a masterwork of insight on the heart's trials and triumphs in human relationships.

In the second act, when the protagonist's cynical teenage daughter probes what falling in love is like, he offers a disarmingly raw, earnest, life-earned answer:

"It's to do with knowing and being known. I remember how it stopped seeming odd that in biblical Greek, knowing was used for making love. Whosit knew so-and-so. Carnal knowledge. It's what lovers trust each other with. Knowledge of each other, not of the flesh but through the flesh, knowledge of self, the real him, the real her, in extremis, the mask slipped from the face. Every other version of oneself is on offer to the public. We share our vivacity, grief, sulks, anger, joy... we hand it out to anybody who happens to be standing around, to friends and family with a momentary sense of indecency perhaps, to strangers without hesitation. Our lovers share us with the passing trade. But in pairs we insist that we give ourselves to each other. What selves? What's left? What else is there that hasn't been dealt out like a deck of cards? Carnal knowledge. Personal, final, uncompromised. Knowing, being known. I revere that. Having that is being rich, you can be generous about what's shared " she walks, she talks, she laughs, she lends a sympathetic ear, she kicks off her shoes and dances on the tables, she's everybody's and it don't mean a thing, let them eat cake; knowledge is something else, the undealt card, and while it's held it makes you free-and-easy and nice to know, and when it's gone everything is pain. Every single thing. Every object that meets the eye, a pencil, a tangerine, a travel poster. As if the physical world has been wired up to pass a current back to the part of your brain where imagination glows like a filament in a lobe no bigger than a torch bulb. Pain."

I love this description you have given - They look like they were made for each other. Sahir's love is intense, passionate and bold, making the normally tough Arzoo go weak at the knees. Arzoo's love is pure, compassionate and honest. All the things that make Sahir melt for her.

And yes I loved a bold Arzoo. Hate the notion that women have to be shy wall flowers. And the pool scene was a nice one too. Their comfort and trust is beautifully exhibited in it. And Sahir is learning to smile again.

The questions you have posed below is key to a proper completion of the story.

Who is Sahir Azeem Chaudary? Where was he born? Where did he grow up? What happened to his parents? How did he end up marrying Zeenat?

Ok chalo I am headed out for lunch. Lovely post as usual Vish.

😊

Lovely summary of the week VD.
Amazing SaAz scenes we had...both displaying a level of comfort with each other that was endearing!

Apologising to each other even when miffed was sweet😃. Sahir overcoming his driving phobia to protect Arzoo and Arzoo ' s unshed tears at seeing what it was doing to him ...perfect companions...they complete each other...think more about each other than themselves.

The revelation scene...the trigger for it was unexpected...her hurt at being referred to as zeenat..her insecurity ..Sahirs reassurance...and his inadvertent admission that zeenat never cared...the words spilled out after that and Arzoo handled if all very beautifully!😛.

Of course they soon became aware of a different feeling given the proximity and the breakdown of the barrier in their relationship and what followed was sensual and at the same time a very sensitive and aesthetically done intimate scene...😳...how I wish it hadn't been interrupted😉.

The swimming pool scene...simply one of the most poignant SaAz scenes we have seen...Sahirs transformation from the upset and pained person he was when he entered the room,,tired of carrying the load of pain on his shoulders ...to the Sahir splashing water and smiling a wondrous smile...was superb...and the way Arzoo changed his mood..cheered him...heart warming. I loved the couple in that scene.

And when he shared that zeenat had been having an affair and he had known for seven years, his voice and glistening eyes giving away his pain, her silent gesture of comfort by resting his head against her shoulder..her resolve to take away pain from his life...they are true humsafars indeed!

Looking forward to more romance and an ending as complete as they can give us😃

As usual a succinct TWTW Vish :)
The last week was absolutely rocking, everything was spot on. Goes to show that when the 4 lions want to do a good job they do a tremendous one. Hats off to the team for giving us a fabulous fabulous week with intrigue and romance beautifully woven in.

The cvs gave us such a beautiful surprise in a near SR. N totally agree with you it was aesthetically shot and yet gives me goosebumps everytime I see the episode. The two leads HC and SP share a beautiful chemistry and the screen catches fire every time their come close to display their love of reach other. N what to say of HC's back, u already know that I am totally in love with his makhan back. 😆 My eyes stay glued to his muscular, chikna back every time I replay the scene 😆

Before I lose control and digress,😳 let me say that the scene was def more intense because SP matched him in every way. Her dialogues were spot on, her shy and yet bold demeanour was so endearing. when she started unbuttoning his button, I was like wow, no wonder Sahir always wanted her so bad, guess he did spot the burning fire raging inside our gussebaaz 😉

All in all a great week, n though the journey has been cut short brutally, I am really looking forward to the next two weeks. Hope to see more skeletons coming out of the closet and the blooming love of Miya biwi along with a rocking C-nite and a liplock. Itna to banta hai na ?
