Chak De has not made great monetiry gains in the west but is a hit in India....it hardly makes a difference...it's good Indian cinema and we applaud it.International success is no critera

i don't think that it is flop cuz now it's summer ho9lidays and many people go back to india or pkaistan or vacationing and many are working full time so they didn't have time to watch it but i went to watch it and there were a lot of other people too and they cheering throughout the movie and even gave standing ovation to the film when film ended 😳

Its not a complete flop in the USA/UK, just average...but in India, its a hit! ... and thats what counts!...whatever films do good business in India, those are the films that get declared a hit, overseas reports dont declare whether a film's a hit or not.

it didnt do good business over-seas, but it did real well in India...and CDI's status will be decided only on how much it collected in India...so i think CDI should already be a hit and may go on to be a super-hit....just wait for the real verdict to come out on the film

Im not surprised its a flop in the US. When I went to see the film, there were only about 10 people in the theater. But then again, it was an afternoon show.
SRK movies do generally well in the US. But CDI is a different movie without a conventional leading heroine, songs, romance etc.

Oh well, as long as its appreciated and isn't a flop overall, its fine. SRK rocks. I love the movie and can't wait to watch it again. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be a blockbuster before it released.
