My wife's a big girl, Said Jackie Shroff when we asked him if his wife Ayesha was having an affair.

Jackie, who was in the city told us, "She's a big girl. There's nothing pulling or holding her down. She has her own ambition, her own friends. She's given me a lot of leeway always. I too have been like that. There were Meenakshi, Madhuri, Dimple - usne uff tak nahi kara. She never said anything. Baaki sab bindaas hai. Usko iska hazaar guna maaf hai."

And Jackie doesn't have a bidu take on freedom. When we asked him what freedom is to him, he said, "I have two children and I see youth in them. My son exercises and plays football and basketball and that's all that he wants. That's freedom to him. His wants are too few. If you desire, you are restless. The key is to be Zen like and be happy with what one has. There are too many radiowaves in the air too... there are mobile phones, Wi Fi connections and we are in some kind of noise always. We are accustomed to the AC, we listen to music all the time or are generally surrounded by the noise of the traffic. Youngsters should go to the hills and the seaside once in a while. We used to dream about such things, but this generation doesn't even dream."
