Hey all...first...I apologize for not updating reviews on the last two episodes...was really unwell since the last two days...high fever and a lot of sneezing and coughingš
P.S. Maybe I'm made of a faint heart and really jelly-like emotions, but I think the thrashing could've been toned down a bit...š
Now, to the Reviewš Chaos, chaos, chaos...such a RUCKUS...It kinda looked SCARY
Romi, who's got his senses back, FINALLY confronted Shagun..."Toh yeh plan tha tumhara? Ek galat aadmi se paise khilwaye? Mujhse chori karwayi? Mere gharwalon ka bharosa tudwaya?" Shagun OBVIOUSLY denied all of the blame put on her..."Maine kaha tha tumse chori karne ke liye? Tumne ki chori...Tumne uss aadmi ko paise diye..." Romi threatened her that he's not going to spare her...the 5 lakhs that he stole and now lost, will have to be restored by HER...and the blame of theft imposed on Appa will now have to be wiped off by HER...
Anyway, Shagun looked quite smug that no matter what happens, Romi would never disclose whatever nonsense transpired in the past week, owing to her cunning and twisted schemes. "Kya kahoge tum unse? Ki tum IMPOTENT ho? Phir kya hoga tumhare buzurg Mummy-Papa ka? Woh toh dil ke daure se marr jayenge," or something along these lines...
As he moves feebly towards the house and steps in gingerly, he is greeted at the door by Raman, who's ready with a volley of questions. Romi tries to avert his eyes and make a move towards his room, so as to avoid any unpleasant situation that might arise. Raman stops him and asks him about Bunty's wedding..."Toh..kaisi rahi Bunty ki shaadi?"
Romi's silent...looks around, eyes darting and breathing feverishly, trying to find an excuse..."Chhod...woh important nahin hai. Yeh bata...tujhe toh Subramaniam ne bataya hi hoga ki locker ki spare key kahan chhupake rakhi hai...toh office jaa...aur wahan se chaabi nikaal aur 5 lakh rupaye leke aa...Mujhe kuch kaam hai..Main office nahi ja sakta...toh jaa...rupaye leke aa"
OBVIOUSLY...Romi looks like he's just been stung by a cobra...scared, anguished and really really lost. Anyway, Raman declares that he KNOWS he's stolen the money from the office locker...and THEN...the yelling and hitting and thrashing and kicking starts...Sr. Bhallas and Simmi came running out from their cozy rooms...Ishita, who was about to have tea with Appa hears the commotion and comes running to the living room where the action's happening...
Raman looks SCARY when he's at the height of his anger...like, REALLY BULLISH. MAD. NOT SOMEONE TO BE MESSED AROUND WITH. He said SOO many things while beating Romi black and blue, 99% of which I couldnt hear...I really wanted Romi to be taught a lesson...but this time around, I cant say I was satisfied with the treatment meted out to him...Of course, the Bhallas dont know WHY he stole the money...but however foolish the reason might be, I kinda felt sorry for him when he started bleeding from all the thrashing...Toshi ji was howling unconsolably...Amma-Appa looked like they'd give anything to stop this crude business...Ishita even asked him, what made him do such a thing...but poor guy...No one really gave him a breather to even SPEAK his mind...
Sadly, his resume (of prior HORRIBLE acts) - Mihika MMS scandal, Bala's blackmail fiasco...did NOT help his case at all...And yet, I wished Romi could've been given 2 minutes to atleast EXPLAIN his side of the story...but since NOBODY did that...now we'll have Shagun gloating for a good MONTH before she's caught by the scruff of her neck...
Raman was dragging him out to report him to the police...Iyers beg and plead with him not to do so...he pushes Romi and makes him fall at Appa's feet...and ask for forgiveness...In the midst of tears and thrashing and rebuke from all the family members, Romi looks up a tad bit and sees Shagun standing in the doorway...watching the scene with mixed reactions on her face...
Sr. Bhalla who usually keeps his lips sealed, looked like Shiva readying to perform his taandav...Eyes like saucers, nostrils flaring, he decided the ultimate punishment for Romi..."Aaj se iska iss ghar se koi rishta nahin..Naa yeh mera beta...naa main iska baap...pade rehne dena ise ek kone mein...aur jis tarah kutte ko haddi khilayi jaati hai..usi tarah khana dete rehna..."
Toshi ji's crying to herself..."Shayad Bhalla ji theek keh rahe the...ki mere hi laad-pyar ne Romi ko bigad diya hai...shayad meri hi parvarish mein koi kami reh gayi' OF COURSE TOSHI JI...AAP HI NE TOH BIGADA ISE...If you would've caught him and set him right when that Sarika scandal happened, and ATLEAST punished him and sent him to jail or something for his abominable act..this stupid Impotent issue would not have come up in the first place..and Romi wouldnt be going mad and stealing from his bro's company's lockers......Ishita and Simmi rush to console her...
In the meanwhile, Shravu and Ruhi come running...there's some new kid movie that's released which they want a copy of...so they're looking for Romi Chachu who they'r going to get it downloaded by...Recalling Sr. Bhalla's words, Simmi tries to manage the issue by saying he's sleeping and they can come see him later...
When it looked like the kids werent satisfied with Simmi's excuse, Ishita quite cutely told them that Romi Chachu's sleeping in his room...they can go see him and call him to the dining table to have food...I really admire Ishita's level-headedness in this situation...Granted, Bhalla ji told everybody to stay OFF Romi...but she's the only one who WANTS to know why Romi did whatever he did...and THAT, is really needed to finally throw Shagun out of the house...
The kids go to see Romi...who's sitting hunched on the floor, tired, crying and bleeding...Ruhi looked SOO SOO SOO ADORABLE in that red lacy frock she was wearing...and even cuter when she got some first aid to apply to Romi's wounds..."Romi Chachu...aap theek ho jao...phir aapse ek movie download karwani hai" Ruhi's parents are DAMN LUCKY to have her...reel-life as well as REAL-LIFE
Even Ishita goes to check on him, albeit, from the doorway itself...She isnt satisfied with the ruckus that has just happened in the house...'Agar Romi ko paison ki zaroorat thi, toh usne Raman se kyun nahin maanga? Mujhse kuch kyun nahin kaha? Usne...kisiko bhi kuch nahin kaha"...as she thinks to herself, she recollects the scene where Romi hurriedly picked up the card, making an excuse it was Bunty's wedding card..and how Shagun looked anxious...and also that bit, when Romi looked up to see Shagun watching all the drama...The seed of doubt has been planted in her mind...Its only a matter of time before the cards are stacked in the way they're meant to be...
Raman informs his MD ki, "Aap sahi keh rahe the Sir...chor toh mere ghar mein hi tha...par chori Appa ne nai, mere khud ke sage bhai ne ki" Of course, the MD decides not to take any action against the CEO's bro for a meager 5 lakhs...this bit made me wonder if relatives and siblings of top officials in such high-profile companies are let off the hook even after siphoning money...just coz they're family...
Pammi Aunty's called Toshi ji...there's some Canada-based guy whose rishta she wants to fix with Rinki...apparently, the guy is supposed to come over sometime soon...Am desperate to see Rinki's reaction to this marriage proposal...Will she blurt it out that she truly and ONLY likes MIHIR?
THE BEST PART OF TODAY's EPISODE?? Adi's BACK in Bhalla House..but WONT BE STAYING THERE...Toshi ji's going CRAZY over GKC and doesnt want him to go out of her sight...Adi's entered the house and started looking for his Mumma...Simmi tells him that Shagun no more lives with them...Raman greets him in the most affectionate way possible...kissing him on the forehead and making him sit down..."Dekh Adi...main tujhse kehne wala hun jo mujhe bahut pehle keh dena chahiye tha...Teri Mamma aur main..ab saath nahin rehte...hamara divorce ho chuka hai...Meri shaadi ho chuki hai...Ishita se...hum sab ek normal family ki tarah ab nahin reh sakte..." MASTERSTROKE...TOO LATE...BUT A DESERVING, LONG-DUE ONE

Today, Raman looked Angry, Affectionate and Anguished...in pieces...In the last scene of today's epi, he looked SOO heartbroken and TORN...between his love and madness for his son and his responsibility towards his wife...his current relationship...Though Toshi ji looked like she would suffer a stroke, at Adi leaving the house, Raman stopped her from bawling too much...and made her understand it will eventually be fine...
When Shagun tried to poison Adi's ears, Raman even reprimanded her..LOVELY...That was the Raman I like...I adore...and go gaga over...A man is allowed to cry and be vulnerable...but then despite it all, he needs to take a call WHEN IT IS NEEDED...Today, Raman did that...I will cheer THIS Raman Ku. Bhalla till the ends of earth...who's madly obsessed over his son...but will NOT let it rule his entire beingššš
I absolutely GUSHED over how Iishita soothed him down...and hugged him...they both look SOO COMFY with each other now...even physically...Wonder when they will KISS??š¤Ŗ
PRECAP - Shagun and Romi are now fighting dirty...Shagun's threatening him she'll expose his secret to the family...if he doesnt stop bothering her...Romi no more looks beaten and scared...he dares her to go tell the truth to his family..."Aur jis kacchre se meri bhabhi tumhen uthake laayi hai...tumhen wapas USI KACCHRE MEIN FENK DEGI"
P.S. I'm not a man, so I might be missing out on this something...but then...WHY is IMPOTENCY sooo soo tragic? and well, SCANDALOUS AND LOOKED UPON AS A SIN?? The mythic proportions Romi's impotency has been ALLOWED TO be inflamed to, is ridiculous...Does a man become less of a man if he cant contribute to the birth of offsprings?? Just like a woman is made to look and feel inferior if by fate's twisted hand, she cant conceive! Such twisted notions of what makes a man and what makes a woman! Am APPALLED!š¤¬

P.S. Ishita looked REALLY gorgeous...the peach-cream saree with the palloo left to swish and sway like the pleats of a flairy gown...and the black blouse with petal designs...nice combination
