A lot goes into a performance, sweat and all... and sometimes, it also comes with sharing personal things, like Sonali Bendre did in one of the episodes of Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh.
We all know that the series is heading towards the curtain call but giving it her all, Sonali wouldn't ever stop. So when she needed to procure the right look for the final episodes, she simply didn't think twice about approaching her mother-in-law, and asking for her earrings. Sonali felt that the earrings would have been perfect for the look, and the stylists were incapable of getting something similar.
Guess that's the true calling of an actor, being so in tune with the characters they play, they know the needs and the requirements better than most!
