Seperated from his parents at a young age that too in a wild bomb blast the child grows up in Banaras. Before he can come to term with his parent's loss well he loses his adopted father. The child in him dies. His innocence is lost. He is hardened at a young age.

He lives through that loss only to encounter another brutal loss that of his adopted mother. His Maimui.

Yes from outside he looks hard,emotionally detached, but from inside he is soft, craves for love, craves for affection but ends up trusting no one. Coming to Mahakumbh he learns his family has been destroyed by the family of the woman who brought him there.

His anger intensifies, need for revenge emerge and he decide to use the woman Maya who bought him there. But the ruthless man seeking revenge in him sees the true face of the woman who he was planning to use. Living in her own delusional world, unknown to her, she has been used like a puppet by her family. He sees her arguing, fighting for him and she getting intimidated in the name of the crime which she didn't commit intentionally.

With the veil lifted the man in him goes to find her, to offer her solace and tell her he will be with her and he has forgiven her. But alas before he reaches she walks away from his life telling him not to follow her.

The Rudra who erases the china with the hottenend iron rod is something which you as a viewer simply cannot withstand. in that scene you don't see the physical pain of that man, but the emotional pain of loss giving strength to him to withstand that physical pain. His physical pain is nothing compared to the emotional loss he has suffered. The child and man in him craves loves and affection. He wants his family, he wants his love and without these his destiny does look incomplete.
