SRK's Fan il release on EID( Sep'23) n Aishwarya's Jazba on 9th Oct

After the postponement of Shah Rukh Khan's next film Fan from its previous August 14 release date, fans of the superstar have been wondering when the film will hit theatres.

YRF recently announced that Fan' has been postponed and the Independence Day release slot was happily taken by the Dharma Productions' coming release Brothers, starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra.

The shooting of Fan' is yet to be wrapped up and after that will begin the grueling VFX work, because the film stars Shah Rukh Khan in a double role. YRF wants to use the cutting edge technology to give a superior product to the audience. That's why a delay by at least a month is expected.

Which means, that Fan', directed by Maneesh Sharma could well release on Bakri-Eid, which falls on September 23. The day is Wednesday and that will allow the film a long five-day weekend at the box office.

The other Eid slot of Eid-ul-Fitr has already been booked by Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.

Over the last few years, all of Shah Rukh Khan-starrers have released on a festival weekend and went on to rake in the moolah at the box office. That pretty much seems to be the plan for YRF release Fan' as well, though a confirmation is still awaited.

Fan' has Shah Rukh Khan playing a superstar and also his lookalike, obsessive fan.

Actress Aishwarya Rai has started shooting for her comeback film Jazbaa' and now it looks like the film's director Sanjay Gupta has even locked a release date.

From the look of it, 'Jazbaa' will release on October 9, 2015. Sanjay Gupta took to Twitter to hint at this without elaborating much:
9th October, 2015 will be the most important day for me this year.

If it releases on October 9, 'Jazbaa' may face competition from the previous week's release, the Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Singh Is Bling', which is slated to hit theatres on October 2. But going by the buzz surrounding Jazbaa', Gupta, we're sure, won't be worried.

Jazbaa' stars Aishwarya Rai as a lawyer and Irrfan Khan as a suspended cop. The film also stars Shabana Azmi, Atul Kulkarni and Sidhanth Kapoor.

Director Sanjay Gupta has taken a brief break from the film's shooting and is sprucing up the script.
