Ranbir Kapoor feels sad for the way of protest made against AIB roast
February 10, 2015The AIB controversy has stirred up many views of celebs and fans all over. While some feel that the content was not up to Indian standards and culture, many have spoken for it. Recently in an interview to NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor opened up on the issue and he feels sad the way AIB team had to bear the brunt for projecting comedy. He said, "I understand that we live in a society which has so many dos and don'ts, but this is not something which is forced on to your face. If you choose to see it, you see it for your entertainment. It's done on the sake of comedy." The actor while talking about the issue also said that he as an audience would definitely love to see such kind of comedy. He said, "I as an audience, if I had a child, I wouldn't let him see it as there is a viewer's discretion. But, me, I have traveled the world, I have been exposed to different cultures...good or bad, I have the right to see it." Though Ranbir didn't watch the episode, this statement shows that he is in full support of his co-stars and friends - Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar and the AIB team. CREDITS: NDTV |
