It is said that when we do a sin, our status drops down and when we do something good, it rises up. But even after sacrificing their own lives for others, they couldn't find each other's arms for solace in the painful journey that followed.
Khushi's wait had to end and it ended too. Arnav had arrived at mid-night and didn't care to speak to anyone. But as it is said Love is a pain, which we crave for, Arnav completely ignored Khushi, which pierced her heart as if it was possible now.
Her broken pieces of heart, were now powdered, the love she expected from Arnav, to repair her wounds was like it was never even there. Pain which suppressed every other feeling, was now oppressing her. Love which conquered everything, was now making her go weak.
The tears of God, in which she stood, mingled with the ocean of tears of her pain-filled eyes, which had raging storm of feelings in them, was making her get wet. Only if these drops of water calm her down, but they only pierced her further. Even pain becomes pleasure in love, but what is this love, in which even rain drops become needles piercing through her?
What kind of love was this in which nothing can cause a ripple in the stillness of pain, it created?
Questions were many in their hearts, but answers were yet to be explored in their hearts.

Next Morning, Shantivan

Khushi didn't remember when the all-evading sleep took her to a world with just darkness.
Darkness.
Wasn't it what her real life was currently filled with? It was a darkness due to too much of bright pain of love.
Khushi quickly freshened up and got ready in a pale colored suit. A person full of life, now had dark circles which looked like bruises, a person whose eyes sparkled with mischief, now were glittering with tears of love. How much can a person destroy himself in love, is a question which never had an answer.
Khushi got ready and came out to bump herself with Arnav. Arnav who had just completed his conference was about to reach to his room when he found his love in his arms. Only if he could confess his feelings to her.
Only if he could stop me from falling into the vortex of his painful love, thought Khushi. Words remained unexpressed but pain were evident in their eyes. Arnav's brown eyes, were glistening with betraying tears, formed due to Khushi's condition. His look on her was blistering her soul and was dallying storms in her turbulent mind.
She straightened herself and was about to go, without an exchange of words, when a grip on her hand stopped her. Only if I could grip my feelings towards him.
" How are you, Khushi?" asked Arnav, in a painful voice.
Couldn't he see what my condition is? A person who could marry her, ignoring her painful eyes, could stoop much further, thought Khushi.
" How do want me to be, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada?" asked Khushi, sarcastically, which had fulfilled its purpose by hurting Arnav.
" I didn't know all this would happen, Khushi! I never wanted this to happen! It was a mistake I can never correct!..."
Arnav continued to speak while Khushi's world once again came crashing down. It was a mistake for him? He never wanted to marry me? He never saw love in my eyes for him?
Destiny couldn't have been harder than this. This was a story written by God to hurt. This was a play, in which they were just puppets, but will they ever realize the feelings which drove them to this extent of pain? Only time could tell.
" Maybe you could correct it, Mr.Raizada!" said Khushi, with streaks of pain and sarcasm, which hit Arnav hard.
" How,Khushi? I will do everything to make your life better!" said Arnav, with concern expressed in his tone and eyes.
" By Annulling this marriage, which was just an act for us!" said Khushi, in a painful whisper.

Nice story

I just read all the chapters in one go. After reading all the chapters I understand Arnav and Khushi both are in love with each other but the question is why are they not telling each other what they feel? Both are misunderstanding each-other feeling and how come they got married ?.Looks like I am now confuse.
