Hey I m Samrajya laxmi wati and this is my new os on SanDhir . I actually was listening to this song climb of Miley Cyrus and Fly of Nikki Minaj and Rihanna and those songs gave me an idea to write this os . Hope u all like it and do comment back your opinion. Criticism is welcomed.

She looked at herself in the mirror , the girls at the back of her who were helping her screamed in awe . They all complimented her . Her white and red lehenga was matched with gold earrings and a matching necklace . Her cascade of hair ran down her back which was decorated by some clips and flowers . Yes ! She was indeed looking too beautiful just like a nymph .

"U look too good , now jeeju is gonna be flat ! U r looking red hot ! " a girl commented and everyone laughed except for her . Her mind was not paying attention to any of these comments , this meant nothing for her .

"Oh girls u all are still here! come downstairs and help me " a woman called out and all the girls hurried out .

As the door slammed Sanyukta looked again at herself and broke into tears . This was not all she had wished for . Engineering was what she wanted not this engagement . She held her hand tight , she wanted screw driver in them not broom ! She wanted a engineering certificate not a groom. She wanted to make machines not babies and she wanted to set up her name not join it with someone else !

But only if her father would understand . Sanyukta cursed herself again . She should have never come here .

She had got a call from her home last week saying that her father was really sick , hearing this Sanyukta quickly took a leave and came here . After arriving at home she came to know that her father was not sick instead it was his plan to make her come here with his name so that he can arrange her engagement with Sameer. And now the day had come . Her engagement was here !

She sank into her chair . Randhir her mouth spoke out .

_Flashback_

"What Sanyukta ? Are u crazy or what leaving all this u r going back again ? Why . " Randhir asked in an angry voice to Sanyukta after she said that she was leaving for her home .

"Randhir why are shouting . My father is sick , that's why I m going . Do not worry I will come back once he is well " she replied to him in a smooth and calm voice .

"Are u gone mad Sanyukta huh or u r acting stupid? Don't u even understand this is all fake Sanyu . They just want u to come there. Why are leaving dream team and going there just like that huh ?

Don't U get it ! " he shouted .

"Why are u so acting stupid Randhir don't u get it my father is sick and that is not fake . And I m not leaving dream team I will come back as soon as he gets well . And if u were in my place then u would also do that! Don't u get it ! " she shouted back and without listening a word went from there .

_Flashback Ends_

Tears recreated in Sanyukta eyes as she remembered that . Randhir was right all the time but it was her who didn't listen instead shouted at him . All the time knowing she felt something for him . She missed him but there was no use now . If only she could meet him once .

Sanyukta was lost in her thought when her mother entered the room .

"Sanyu chalo nicche sagai ka waqt ho Gaya . ( Sanyu , lets go down , it's time for engagement . ) " her mother said which brought Sanyukta back to reality .

She did not reply instead she got up and not even facing her mother she moved her steps .

"Sanyu listen to me ...I ..."but before she could complete her sentence Sanyukta went out .

I know u r angry with me Sanyu , but what can I do ? This is all for your dad please forgive me if u can , she thought as she saw Sanyukta walk down the stairs.

Sanyukta stood expressionless and there was photo shoot . Her soon to be husband posed a hundred of pose with her but she damn hell cared !

She felt her heart pinning as every moment passed by but her inner heart assured that something would happen today , something in her favour .

The struggle I'm facing ,

The chances I'm taking

Sometimes might knock me down, but

No I'm not breaking

I may not know it , but

These are the moments , yeah

I'm gonna remember the most

Just gonna keep going

And I gotta be strong

She kept on herself to tolerate all these cause she believed her heart , something would be today in her favour .

"Let's get ready for the engagement . " Sanyukta's mother in law said and everyone started the last prep .

Sameer placed a beautiful diamond ring in Sanyukta's fingers . It was now Sanyukta's turn . She was about to place ring in Sameer's fingers when someone called out ,

"Sanyukta ! "

Sanyukta looked up and gasping said , " Randhir !" as she saw him entering the hall .

Before Randhir could walk any further in he was stopped by two men . He tried to get away but the two men held him tight .

"No Sayu ! Don't do this , u can't do this . U r made for more , u have to become an engineer not a housewife right ? So what's this ? Are u scared from nowhere now ? "He cried out and everyone whispered and started to talk with each other .

"Sayu come on ignore him and carry on " her father said but she was only paying attention to Randhir .

"Do not give up so easily Sanyu , this is not the end . Come on Sanyu , u've got to fight the battle . It's your life and your choice. Come u've got a lot of to achieve . "He said again .

As he said that Sanyukta thought for sometime . He was truly correct . It was her life why let anyone else rule it and she had more to do .

There's always gonna be another mountain

I'm always gonna wanna make it move

Always gonna be an uphill battle

Somebody's gonna have to loose

"Sanyu ! Come on carry on , don't listen to him . "Her father said again .

"You r right papa ! I 'm not going to listen to him "she said confidently and Mr Aggrawal smiled proudly where as Randhir was left confused .

"Im not gonna listen to him but my heart " she continued , "and my heart says to follow him . "

Saying this she quickly moved towards Randhir and hugged him leaving everyone shocked .

"You r right Randhir , its my life and my choice . Lets go Randhir I do not belong here . I m gonna fight . "Sanyukta said and was about to go when someone stopped her from back .

She looked back to find angry Sameer stopping her .

"U can not go just like that Sanyukta "he said .

Sanyukta freed herself from his grip and said , "Right how can I go just like that ! Here take your ring back ! "And handed him the ring which had just entered her fingers and life some minutes ago but did not make any sense to her .

"Iss ring k liye kohi aur haat dhund na Gadhe ! ( Search another hand for this ring , donkey !)" and saying this she caught Randhir's hand and moved out of the hall . She heard some shouts and screams but she did not bother to look back .

"Wow ! That was good .You r no less than a tigress "Randhir complimented and Sanyukta laughed at it .

"I know right ! "

And both of them laughing walked out of the Aggrawal Mansion . Randhir was happy that Sanyukta was back and Sanyukta was happy cause she was back because of him and this time she had won this battle .
