PSST...
We hear Rajeev Khandelwal has signed on the dotted line for Sony's new show to be produced by Shrishti Arya. Our source says, "The actor has been offered a lucrative amount for the show which is a mini TV series and will last for a total of five months. The actor felt it won't come in the way of his film aspirations and has agreed to the offer."

Name: Shrishti Arya

Marital Status: Married to cinematographer Sameer Arya.

Trivia: A well-known television and film producer, Shrishti Arya started her career way back in 1998, when she co- produced Angaaray starring Akshay Kumar and Pooja Bhatt. Although just 4 films old in the film industry, Shrishti has been quite popular on the small screen with more than 10 television shows to her credit.

Biography: Daughter of producer Ramesh Behl and sister of filmmaker Goldie Behl (Sonali Bendre's husband), Shrishti Arya has been one strong woman throughout her life. She took up a job in marketing at a young age of 15 just to earn some pocket money. The sudden demise of her father meant that she and her brother had to shoulder the entire responsibility of their production house Rose Audio Visuals Pvt. Ltd.
Shrishti and Goldie's first project was Angaaray' in 1998. In 2001, Goldie debuted as a director with Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai', which was produced by Shrishti. The film was a total box office dud and starred Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles.
Since the two films did not work well for the producer, she decided to shift her focus to television. She made a successful debut with her daily soap Lipstick' which aired on Zee TV. The show, which was about two women fighting for power, was well- received by audiences. Her next show Jeet' was about professors and their relationships with students in colleges. It aired on Sony TV and had a decent run on television. Her latest show was Dekha Ek Khwaab' which aired on Sony TV from November 2011 to August 2012.
Besides these, her production house Rose Audi Visuals also produced many television shows under her guidance. Na Na Karte, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, India Calling, Twinkle Beauty Parlour, Baccha Party, Remix, Aathvaan Vachan, Guns & Roses and Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai were shows which aired on various television channels and belonged to different genres and themes.
Meanwhile, Shrishti, whose Twitter profile description reads "A constant, committed searcher for meaning... and stories to tell!!!', also produced Drona' in 2008. Drona was directed by Goldie and had Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra as leads. The film failed miserably at the box office and managed to recover just a quarter of its budget. In March 2012, her film London Paris New York' released. Starring Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari, the film gained average to positive reviews.
Coming up next from the brave and talented woman is a romantic comedy film I, Me Aur Main' starring John Abraham, Prachi Desai and Chitrangada Singh. Also in line is an untitled collaboration with director Tigmanshu Dhulia, which is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's famous play Hamlet.

If its short series of 5 months , then I feel it might b weekend show ...

But sony seems to b getting all old actors back .. first Ronit , then Ram and now Rajeev

this is where I feel Sony dont want to let Harshad go too since he too is among those above ones only ...

Jyoti, I so love your positivity but why aren't they saying anything about it properly? They are still tweeting to fans that it is not going off air but really cannot believe them as none of the main people are talking đŸ€ą They would really be fools to take HS off air - it is so wildly popular across the globe - I just hope that counts...Also, Aahat and Hanuman wouldn't be the problems...that ram kapoor show and the other one are the threats 😭 One will go at 8 pm I am sure - what about the other? Why don't they just change HS' timing and keep it on đŸ„± god knows kya hoga...the suspense is killing me 😭

They mayb themselves undecided and so keeping a silence over fate of this show .. I think decisions r taken overnight in last min , so they dont reveal much till a final decision is taken ..

if they want they can always extend their prime time from 7 pm and mayb put HS at 7 or 7.30 when I feel it might do better since youth will watch it that time ... star plus , zee tv , all channels hv shows starting from 7pm , so why cant Sony too do the same .. this way they can fit lot more shows which will b profitable for the channel only .. its simple business sense ..

Idk why but I still feel that Sony hasn't taken any proper decision about axing yet...or else why they'd constantly tweet about humsafars when they don't do this for their hum hain na and tum aise hi Rehna...They still want to test the fandom that's why every retweet and tweet counts.

Yes, to be sure, that would make so much sense and it is really a problem with their strategy. They are never going to gain anything by starting and stopping shows like this. If they really do what you have said, it would be so great 😃
