Ram Kapoor's POV

"You want me to find what Daadu !" I almost fall from my chair as I asked my grandfather again in case I just misheard what he just said.

"Bahu A bride ." My Daadu, Ravinder Kapoor, repeated calmly. "Main chahta hu ki tum tumahre liye wife dhuundh lo wo bhi mere Birthday ke pehle...as Your birthday present to me.Ram "

I was laughing. "What makes you think I need a wife, daadu? I'm not thinking about settling down."

"You're already thirty-Five, Golu" Daadu pointed out flatly. "Maine tumhari daadi se Shadi kari thi jab main 20 saal ka tha. tumahri to age nikal gyi hai Settle hone ke liye..."

Right now, I am regretting on my decision to visiting to grandparents in their Farmhouse or now their permanent house... just outside mumbai.

Now I am stuck here in study room

"I'm not interested in marriage Daadu." I told him arrogantly. "Shadi vaadi is not my type daadu."

"How do you know?"

"I just do."

Daadu just laughed loudly, taking out a cigar from the inside pocket of his suit. He continued... "main tumahre jitna arrogant nahi hota mere Pote (i wont be arrogant like u my grandson)...,.Apne dost vikram ko dekho wo bhi Tumahre jaise bolta tha ki kabhi shadi nahi karunga ab dekh lo already married or ab to baap bhi banne wala hai..."

I knew that we will come to this conclusion once this crap conversation started. Of course, my Daadu already heard the news about the pregnancy of Vikram's new bride and as a proud Punjabi that he was Daadu wants his Empire and dynasty to continue through the next generations. Since I am Ram Kapoo only child Of My father Amarnath Kapoor... Daadu might fear that the Kapoor dynasty will stop if I did not marry soon

He probably thought that I'm on my dotage age already that few more years I couldn't fathered even a single child.

Kahi tum apne dost se jalte (jealous) to nahi ho ki wo ek acchi ladki ke saath settle ho gaya hai...

"No."

Daadu placed his cigar between his teeth. "Hmmm."

If he just knew the how much Vikram suffered of his wife Neha He'd never force me to do this... Vikram alwyas jealous because men paid attention to Neha in so many occations. I couldn't watch Vikram to surrender to the Crap they called 'love'. The great Grandson Vikram had fallen For neha. I can't let myself to be like that For anyone. Not in this Birth

What a crap Ram .i laughed at myself

"Daadi aapki chodne nahi wali agar unhone Aapko Cigar pite dekh liya." I warned Daadu as he lit the cigar and startk taking puff.

"Mujhe esa nahi lagta." Daadu said smugly, as he continued to puff..

I frowned. "Kyu daadi kahi bahar hai kya?"

"Nahi Yahi hai." Kuch relatives aaye hai Punjab se milne

I didn't like the way Daadu said the word 'Relatives' uneasiness creep inside me. "Aur kaun hai wo relatives?"

"Purani dost aayi hai tumahri Daadi ki..." Daadu replied smoothly.

"...unki Poti ( granddaughter), ke Sath." i said in last

I knew it.

"Mujhe Lagta hai mujhe unki Poti se tumhe introduce karwana chahiye." Daadu added.

I scowled at Daadu. "I am not interested."

"Thik hai Apni Daadi se bol de ye."

I completly regret my decision in coming here instead of office I should have seen it coming.

"Unse kah dena ki main unki matchmaking main interested nahi hoo."

"Thik hai main bol dunga." daadu answered that made me more nervous than ever.. "par meri ek condition hai."

I rolled my eyes. "What is your condition Daadu?"
