I don't think it's the house Sush.. I think this is the kalyana mandapam and she was leaving from her house to the mandapam.

Maybe it's the engagement but I think they mentioned that since he needs to go back to US, they wanted to have the wedding soon.

To me, it looks like it's going to be another SM. Andal is probably going to end up marrying Vinod regardless of what she sees for the sake of her brother. After so much of dragging, the brother will come to know the truth & will break the marriage and ask Azhagar to remarry Andal. I know this is lame but you never know the director might do this for the sake of dragging even further.
