Aazadi ke Rang, Star Dopahar ke Sang
Aug 15, 1 pm (2hr Special Event)
August 15, commemorates the day in 1947, India's biggest secular celebration, on the anniversary of her independence.
To celebrate this special day, the lead couples of all the four shows of Star Dopahar namely
Kumkum (Juhi Parmar) and Sumit (Hussain) from Kumkum-Pyara Sa Bandhan
Suhana (Rucha Gujarati) and Dev (Vishal Singh) from Bhabhi
Gauri (Pallavi Subhash) and Shiv (Yash Tonk) from Karam Apnaa Apnaa
Bhoomika (Zalak) and Shyam (Manav Gohil) from Saarrthi are all together invited by a Special host.
This independence theme will be related with the Indian family values and the role that our protagonists play in keeping their families together; the way our protagonists keep the spirit of Indianess going, by instilling the right values in new generations. For all that they contribute to the well being of the society...this day has been chosen to reward them for their selfless deeds. There is a whole lot of fun, excitement and happiness for all these 4 pair of protagonists that but there is a catch... Only one couple out of the four will be the ultimate achiever.
Each couple will be going through exciting and intriguing games like Musical Chair, Newspaper-fold Dance, Slow Cycling, Balloon-bursting Competition etc… Each couple will end up with certain number of points at the end of each stage/game... And the finale will decide on the Winner Couple. What will be their reward?
And that's not all, this event will also be power packed with mind blasting performances – a mix of Retro, Patriotic & Just Arrived Super hit dance numbers… And last but not the least, we will also have Ganga (Jennifer) and Sagar (Chaitanya), the lead pair of our new show "Sangam" as the Special Guests of the Special Day and a rocking performance from them too.
We will also talk about Star Dopahar's care for its viewer by going 5 days a week – i.e. Mon-Fri from 20th August. The host will surely be the USP of the event.
Star Comments: Husein & Juhi
Hussain:
"It's the day when all Indians feel proud and we all stand together. On this day we don't work as we salute all the freedom fighter's who have sacrificed their lives so that we can live peacefully. So all Indians should preserve this 60 years of independence like a precious gift."
Juhi Parmar:
"Independence to me is invaluable. When you can take decisions about your own life, it means a lot. It symbolizes a lot of responsibility for me. I am free to do whatever I want but at the same time I should know what I am doing. This Independence Day I have no plans at all, I am working the whole day. Happy Independence Day to you!"
