Gautam's acting was good in Saraswatichandra , but his acting in MK has been mind-bowling to say the least...
The question is...where was he hiding for all these years? Why didn't he get a chance like this earlier?
I remember seeing him in tit-bits of roles like a show on colors( don't remember the name) two years ago...but that was mainly "you blink and i miss" kind of roles..
Even in small scenes, routine scenes which other actors might just pass over without emoting, he is emoting so well.
A actor's best scope comes in two kind of roles, 1) Negative ones, 2) Like one in this show, hero suffering from great personal/emotional trauma and looking for a new high.
I daresay, that this role will do similar wonders for GR, which Mahadev did for Mohit Raina.
