Dear Shyamala, one thing for sure is that I will in no case be disrespectful or use a particular language even though i call someone as my friend, or coz of the way in which i sympathize with him, i do the same with my aunt of 40 years old, because she's cool with me and plus i'm not so young as that, especially not like the others here!😃

I'll try to answer sandhya if possible:

First sandhya this show requires total concentration, above that already half an hour leaves you a little lost, I personally try to see all episodes on Friday.

-concerning Rudra's dadi who lived there without food, Utkarsh explained on twitter, it's just that we do not have a great knowledge and it is his role to push us to discover things, that's great i think .

-why rudra suspect maya: look at the scene rudra-pandey, then that with his dadi, and attaches all this with the fact that Maya is swami's niece, and rudra now knows she has done it all and acted cloder to bring him back to mahakumbh following the orders of her nanu (saying that it is all to bring him near a family friend of his).

-greison explained all these secrets to balivesh because he had no choice, watch the scene between the two in which they failed to fight, he told him (that whole area is mine, you can not do anything without my permission and he will not give him anything that has to do with what he wants if he does not know everything.) so he had no choice.

-about the death of pandey's family, apparently: that I understood, they wanted eliminate anyone who knows what was pandey doing or anyone who was with him, and this quickly before rudra go back and forces his family to say something, so they had to kill all those who were in the house.

-for free rudra, of course free, if they attach him, they will never get to have the Amrit, they know that he may be the only one who can find it, and of course they do not count maintain him free after. that's for sure
hope it will help you sandhya

Thanks a lot ranou.😊

Yes, the show needs a lot of concentration indeed and i watch it mostly during the retelecast next morning with invariable disturbances.😕

Sandhya my pet,

I am glad you are still on board, and still on the same page as I for the most part.

I have not seen Varnam Aayiram, but I did see Nayagan, and Kamal did what you have noted to a T. But then, my dear, that is Kamalahaasan! How can one expect Vikram or anyone else to attain that level?

As for Seema Biswas' body language, and Rajat's in JA, I agree with you 111%. I had noted that body language of hers even in the Chandraban's anniversary scene. She is an amazing performer, who proves time and time again that talent, at her level, can effortlessly trump mere looks, which she does not need at all.

As for Gautam in that scene, I do not really see what more he could have done, - when he clings to her pallu to stop her and looks up at her, he has his heart in his eyes - but I can see where you are coming from, and why, and it is perfectly understandable difference in perceptions.

And I am afraid I have not seen Pitamagan either, but if you mean the head lowered, bull about to charge stance, I agree with that too, and have in fact pointed that out many times as something I dislike intensely. It is also totally unnecessary playing to what would, in movie parlance, be called the front benchers.

But that is the director, just like the misshapen potato nose, the lowered brows and the narrowed eyed ranting that Jalal used to be saddled with till recently, such a poor take compared to his earlier icy anger in the initial episodes.

As for the rest, ie your questions, I have tried to answer them the best I can. One thing with this serial, the doubts often get cleared from one episode to the next!

Shyamala Aunty

Thank you so much aunty for your answers. As i have told ranou i watch only the retelecast the next day which is so interspersed with disturbances. 8 o clock is still for ja and its immense crap.😳

You reminded me of my high school chemistry teacher who used to give us such clear and detailed explanations to all our queries(silly sometimes) with such enthusiasm and patience that by the end of the 2 years most of the class fell in love with her subject. Such people who know their subject so well are quiet rare. That is why i used to like Snape always even before book 7. He was so proficient and capable. How i wish i had known you personally aunty or had worked under you.😃

Gautam's eyes were so eloquent and expressive indeed in the shot when he holds Maimui's pallu. But he is convincing only as the 'paavam faced amul baby.'

24 years without food! OMG! I will have to rewatch the exchange between daadi and the doctor. But how come naanu and his men missed out the secret passage all these years.

Aunty, right now Daadi and fast paced story is saving grace for me.
I loved Katherine the way she said, "Allahabad mein aag lag jayegi" 😆

That, my pet, is one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me. Thank you!

There is nothing to keep us from getting to know each other personally, though I do feel that I know you fairly well even as things are. All that you have to do is look me up in Pune, assuming that you are India-based, or if not, take in Pune on one of your vacations in India.

As for your having worked with me, I too would have liked, very much, to have had a clear-headed and efficient young lady like you with me, especially when I was an Ambassador handling prime ministerial visits from India. Now that is 24x7 tension for several weeks on end, and the most wonderful sight during those weeks, after a glitch-free visit, is that of the VVIP plane taxing for take off!😉

Sandhya, see what a pedestrian production Everest has turned into, and I am not even talking of the sublime folly of the Search for the Sarpech, buried atop Everest over 3 months ago😡. Sad. Compared to that, Mahakumbh is far better, with its thrill a minute and chill every second minute. And last night, Naanu was so good as pure evil.!
