Last week and this past week, NCW focused on the topic of jealousy.

Last week Saturday they brought in the character of Rocky and showed how we as human beings become jealous when we meet someone who is better than us at something. Our jealousy can lead us to acting and behaving poorly in order to show that we can do anything the other person does. BD was luck that Rocky did not beat him up during the boxing match, and that Rocky let him win because in actuality, Rocky could beat up BD as boxing is his forte.

Last week's lesson: Be happy with who you are because we all possess talents and traits that the other person does not.

This past weekend was a two part episode with the first part focusing on Bobby and her suspicion of BD and Malika ji's relationship. BD unthinkingly kept praising his new boss in front of Bobby, and her suspicion kept growing. Shivay even warned BD about how dangerous suspicion can be, but BD was convinced that Bobby would not doubt him like that. He ended up feeling the need to lie about being stuck in in the elevator all night with Malika ji because Bobby's suspicion had grown so much.

This past Saturday's lesson: A husband and wife should not praise people of the opposite gender in front of their spouses, especially when they know that the other person is getting upset by it. These small praises can lead to big misunderstandings (as we saw in Sunday's episode 😆).

Sunday's lesson: There should never be any reason for spouses to lie to each other because lies ruin the other person's trust in you. If the other person still does not believe you after you have been honest to them, then that means, there is not a real relationship between those two people. The foundation of a husband and wife relationship is trust.

It's interesting that they showed this subject two weeks in a row but in different situations.
Jealousy is a negative emotion, and we should learn to control it. It's tough because we do not always realize that we are becoming jealous and by the time we do, we have already become controlled by our own jealousy. I find myself falling prey to jealousy and its horrible ways, but I do hope and pray with time I can control it and maybe even not feel it. I think I will not get jealous as I get more confidence in myself as jealousy plays on your insecurities.

We sometimes are completely oblivious to how our actions might be affecting someone else. It's important to be aware of how others around us are feeling because you do not want to unintentionally ruin a good relationship because of small misunderstands. Also though, if someone makes you feel bad by what they are doing, it's important to communicate how you are feeling because the other person might not know you are feeling that way. Relationships are not worth ruining due to misunderstandings.
