Congrats for the new thread🥳

The starting poem is what these episodes were and its very well written. ⭐️

Faiqa you surprise me with your words and imagination everytime you write on any subject with IPK and let me wonder are you a Physicist or literature guru. For sure you can get your PHD in IPK if that was allowed as a thesis.😃

For every action there is a reaction and Opposite attracts. And when the opposites are like Arnav and Khushi then how can we even expect the reaction which is not astounding, spectacular, picturesque and passionate.

"Khushi its high time ki jab mein age chaloo tab tum peeche jana chod do" was the first time when the man suggested the journey above and beyond the contract. After that every moment every day he did what a man would do to woo his wife. Sham, daam, dand bhed. Used all the tactics and got his lady love back.

Their momentum of love in heart was so high that no external force be it dad or be it past, nothing could stop them or divert them. Such was the height of the undying, unconditional, pure love that these two souls had it in their heart that despite all the odds Akhir aana to tha hi ❤️ and how can he not when he marked her as his own in every sense, when she gave it to him shading all her inner fears and listening to her heart with "Hume appe Bharosa hain". Trust - which is more stronger than love how can he even break that trust yet again?

So finally between the fight of heart and brain - Heart won, love won and above all their trust won with their saat feres and all the rituals.

Despite witnessing all the hotness and passion in the eyes of two lovers innumerous times on screen. My personal favorite scene of love between two is the haldi one. It witnessed the burning for the first time in both the eyes equally☺️

How can I not forget to wish the actors who gave us sleepless nights just being Arnav and Khushi 👏

hi bhavii, great post and thanks for liking the main posts. beautiful your ponder on their emotions. all the forces of nature are there in that powerful attraction, that radiant love. and yes, the haldi moments in her room... equall heat in both sets of eyes, and the heady movement... gorgeous. it felt right and completely riveted the mind.

I marked all the lines bold and purple what I loved most.

I also loved this para from your other post.

Intertwined Souls: All these Rituals and customs have no meaning .Khushi finally understands the meaning of Krishna and Radha's relationship deeply and submits completely her faith in her Arnavji...Two souls join together under stars.

Thnx Soha 😊 🤗
for taking time from your studies and all...I know how much busy you are as this Semester of the year students always have their heads in their books and work...absolutely have no time for anything.Same with me but I am a stubborn person by nature...I can't do as much as I used to but still trying my best.

Always so thankful for your insightful output because I know I am not an easy writer but you move with my words easily.

Million thanks for that❤️

Thank you everyone who have liked the opening lines, Movies@IPK and the front page as a whole. Thanks to my immensely talented buddies, who have contributed in making the page so ravishing and enriching it with all the wedding celebrations. Yes ladies, dori 29 it is. 😳

Kate, your gifs continue to be eye catching. The haldi one, dhak dhak inducing. Thank you so much for the music player and for always combining the best upcoming tracks. Also, thanks always for painstakingly providing the links and keeping this journey on the go.

Indi, awesome blast notes. the farmhouse whispers are speaking the loudest. Brilliant captures and lines. Enjoyed the deewar dialogue parody. Of course we have the emotional property, nothing they can do about it.

Maria, thank you for the beautiful banner.

Cynthia, I loved your collages. Thanks for the treat.

Faiqa, first of all, brilliant edits and gifs throughout the page. Loved the picturesque journey of Arnav and Khushi from the wild confession to the wedding and after. The echo of the pure heart is a masterpiece. The draping of the dupatta, the best part in the whole scene. 7 ya 8 was lol in that tense scene. But yes, terrace loop closed. The terrace was yearning to hear those words from him.

Thanks for the number symbolism, solidarity within conflict. And it once again matches our episodes. You are right, like IPK our threads are blessed too, for it is surrounded by some wonderful, truly honest people.

Bhavii, very rightly said, the two actors completely metamorphosed into Arnav and Khushi when the camera was on. We can't thank them enough.

Also, thanks to each and every blaster, the regulars and the irregulars; our readers, silent or otherwise; and also everyone else who've liked our works, either individual or combined. Our journey has reached so far thanks to all your support and love and hope it continues further too giving us the necessary boost and zeal to continue. 😳

Episode 328

It was a tough half hour to sit through. I grimaced and tried to enjoy, but mostly I was embarrassed for Khushi's sake and also upset and to make matters worse we still have to live through the basketball and peon scenes. I came back to add the movie going debacle is also waiting for us.

There were moments when I thought this episode is bearable and then it would all take a turn for the worse.

Thanks to Indi di and Kizh bringing up the original chai biscut Arshi date I missed that a lot while watching this dating effort.

Quickly, what I liked. I liked that ASR was completely unfazed by all the extreme silliness. I have seen people get conscious, worried that the person they are with are making a mess of things. ASR however does not care about what others think. His eyes were on Khushi and he would have gone on looking at her with indulgence even if the episode writers made her sillier than she was.

She had dressed up for him, he admired it with that appreciative look in his eyes when he took her in. He let her do pretty much what she wanted and only stepped in when needed. Of course he did pay the bill, I think it was less chivalry and more I am the male and I do these things, but well we love him just the way he is. And ASR's possessive alpha male tendencies have never considered a woman any less, which is why it's a delight to watch him care, worry and even scare Khushi. It's just the way he is and like he won't change a thing about Khushi, neither would I change a thing about him, as long as he stops smiling so much.

In his habitual matter of fact even tone he explained to Khushi that he didn't have a problem with following the rituals. So when he did it all for Khushi he wasn't going against his own wishes, he was simply following hers.

He does not believe in praying to god, but he never stopped di. Once in a while a gentle reminder not to go overboard in all the fasting for Shyamji, but never instigating against their beliefs. The time he did outright reject the notion of god was in the dargah when Khushi literally bated him into admitting why he didn't believe in god. If there is god there would not be so much pain. Essential truth of ASR's life. The dialogue writers had crafted an entire character with all its depth in a few simple lines. He did not want to be vulnerable, at someone else's mercy. He had seen enough destruction to last him a lifetime and now whatever was going to happen would happen as he willed it. Of course, all that was before a girl landed straight into his arms.

Which brings me to what made me sad this episode. To Khushi would Arnavji be only about what the's, italian food and dating? Is that how you become Arnav Singh Raizada, if you had to?

The thought behind doing something special for him was sweet. Payal made her realize once before when ASR had stood up for her in front of dadiji how lucky Khushi is. Even now he is doing everything to ensure she has the wedding of her dreams. To want to do something in return for him is a wonderful thought. Had such a lot of potential. A girl makes mistakes often. We are allowed to do so. What would have been nice is after this date they went for a quiet drive together, or stared at stars, or she spoke from her heart. What would have been nice is if she realized that none of what she did on this date was needed. That all he needs is a show of love from her. That is his biggest gift. The khushi she brings in his life.

It is an extremely empowering feeling when someone says to you, remain the way you are. I love you for who you are. When someone does not judge you, does not categorize you, does not even expect you to do the things he likes. He respects her with all her sanka and loving heart. I hope it touched her the way the thought touches me.

Kala khatta, chinese soup, broken english speaking waiter, mohan the driver as Sohara had pointed out once, and an ASR mimicking Khushi. Maybe this episode was later going to be used for a bloopers segment or something. Again am sure he can do it, but the scene just doesn't fit my concept of ASR. Maybe Barun mimicked Khushi too well, because I saw Barun in that scene and not a glimpse of ASR.

Before I forget, who thought of adding a bunty bubbly joke? And I have a certain feeling Barun was embarrassed too with his popping the bubble dialogue because he mumbled right through it. I have a suspicion it was actually a decibel lower than his regular mumbles.

In the backdrop we had a father giving gifts to his unborn daughter. The same one he plans to ruthlessly kill, just to come back to Shantivan. Goes without saying I was relieved when this dating ended.

started with a man looking darkly handsome, how can it be a bad episode i thought.

okay, i could see anjali and dadi were totally focussed on their herculean task of making ipk seem like a regular creepy, loud, badly devised intrigue infested hindi soap. have you noticed the background score that plays everytime dadiji is on screen?!

but i have a lot of faith in that man with a brisk tone of voice who just never ever feels like soap material.

nice palat below..

at the restaurant when he gave her that slow appraisal, i was totally reminded of episode 22, the first time he saw her in a saree... a raging red chiffon at that. that first rabba ve... and a capitulation without realising. tonight she is in black though... is it his colour she's wearing now?

without saying a word, just letting his gaze linger on her face he said he was a man who was looking at his woman and was so pleased by what he saw, there was a sense of possessiveness and love and even a hint of surprise there.

a long pretty grown up moment that could have been really silly if the expressions were not right.
nice thought. i always felt when they left things unspoken then the actors spoke volumes. and I like what you say about a grown up moment. He tries hard to be a what he actually is. a grown man aware of himself and how he feels around her.

the shot of khushi's slippers instantly took me to diwali, episode 109.

i wondered why i kept going back in time. was this intentional? were we meant to think of happier days at ipk, when there was fun, game, intelligence and a story to tell, because maybe right now there was a dearth of all of these?

okay, i just didn't like this whole date thing. it felt forced, gooey, predictable and boring. right through the evening what lovers ought to say was said and rather forced humour which went all the way to champagne cork flying and knocking off a man's specs and landing them in the soup was thrown at us.

i missed their real hot date in a restaurant back in 132.
the crisp happy comedy... thank you for this reminder. how good they looked. Have you noticed how Barun managed to make ASR look more grown up? Not sure if it was intentional but there is a slight softening in features in contrast to the sharpness earlier.

"aap... sahi the..."... "main kabhi galat nahin hota..."
you were right... i am never wrong.

"khushi, agar tumhari chai aur... biskoot ki important conversation khatam ho gaoi ho toh akash aur payal ke baare mein baat kar sakte hain?"
khushi, if yoy're dome with you conversation about tea and... biskoot, sheallw e talk about akash and payal

"madame, you have reejarvashun?"came a jarring voice jolting me out of my missing ipk. is that how they speak at top class restaurants? haha exact moment when i grimaced.

khushi had mixed up the dates... why this insistence on making khushi into a caricature almost? strangely even while she is being given huge bits of achhi bahuness. so on the one side you think that will make ipk more "acceptable" to the so called kitchen audience... and on the other you are worried as to how you'll keep khushi khushi then. what about her essential sanka, her whole character.

solution?

make her achhi bahu one minute.

total cartoon the next.

the creators of sanka have obviously forgotten its very essence. you cannot force the stuff. it's like style. either you have it or you don't.

quickly, via chummy conversation with the waiter, khushi's common touch was established. an inalienable trait of achhi ladkis and bahus.

what was that click of fingers suddenly, why?

right through there's asr smiling indulgently. how sweet. but really let me help you, sir... maybe you lost your gussa somewhere while dadi and di were letting us know how terribly gullible you are... but i am a good fan.. i will find it for you. here watch this vm... your gussa, it is here... here...

uh huh sp blocked the vm, what the. haha

never mind, i am putting on my indulgent smile too.

gosh he does look nice in a badly cut suit, i think as i suffer all the cute stuff. and who did up this restaurant? was mami the colour consultant?

khushi is pulling out his chair. why? yeah one can only raise eyebrow and mutter "okaay" (by the way i completely copy that, not in the american way do i mean it, in the serious indian way.)

someone is designing khushi's sleeves with vengeance and very bad taste. poor girl.

baby bump and baba bump arrive. and miraculously never get seen by the other couple.

asr keeps asking "kya kar rahi ho tum?", what are you doing... in this slightly worried protective way. why doesn't it feel asr at all?

oh she's being asr. what? yeah, apparently he has been khushi kumari gupta by doing all the things she does, so she is repaying in kind.

so this is return gift.

has this writer ever been in love?

and do good girls not have tastebuds? she thought kala khatta was wine? and got drunk?

in all this perplexing directionless not funny writing, i never could figure out where this whole date thing was headed. why was it suddenly brought in? was this to make the not hatke remarriage feel like hatke ipk?

ah everything is laboured and plodding and somehow wrong.

only thing i liked, though not madly because the writing could have been sharper as it used to be, was when he said to her, i'll never ask you to do anything you don't want to...

i liked that crisp delivery, it went so well with the adoring eyes. then a hand on hers and a sentence that says what has to be said.

"i love you the way you are, khushi... tumhe badlane ki koi zaroorat nahin hai." that's asr... man enough to not need anyone to change for him. man enough to love without judging.

very bad bunty bubbly joke was cracked and she opened the champagne.. okay. that's all for today.

wasn't the man at the restaurant the guy who sold sheeshmahal to asr in that very first episode?

after all the drama, asr blithely paid the bill and refused to let khushi pay. actually that did feel like asr. not politically correct maybe, but him nonetheless. oh I wrote about this too.

and look who's here... shyamwa has arrived as electrician. moustache on his upper lip, mayhem in his mind.

it was a filler like episode, utterly empty.

I moved your take here.. keep us entertained with this dose of intelligent sarcasm Indi di right when our show is adamant on losing its intelligence. I just couldn't figure out why I couldn't bear watching Khushi. You have great caps of the indulgent lover, but yes I do miss that gussa which has been blocked and hidden away for now.

brilliant reminder of the original date.. and all the conversations you brought with it. immsensely enjoyed the dialogues you quoted from that scene.

hi rhea,

thanks for your 328 read... ugh what an episode. guess what, i just happened to read what i'd thought of the date the first time i saw it. ha. most of crooner was quite pleased with it... but i wrote this short swift one saying, while i am elated to see my friends happy, me no can do.

this date not doing nothing for me.

thank g, i thought, i was not totally silly headed about forced rabba veys and cuteness galore even then.

kala khatta drunk khushi? how ridiculous must a girl be to be viewed as achhi?

hi rhea,

i pray every day for patience and good cheer before seeing an episode. it's a miracle the lead actor left only after almost seventy more episodes. that too, all he had asked for was a break.

thanks for trying your best not to kill people. we shall over come... yes we shall... hyuk.
