Sat epi I would say belonged to Vidhaan and Mythili. Especially Mythili I would say. Well here is a girl who had no evil intention of getting hooked to her best friends fiance or we didn't see her planning and plotting to remove Anjali from Vidhaan's life.
But then it happened. She fell in love with him and well the attraction was mutual. So the question arises. Were they wrong.
Anjali had gone for climbing Everest and it is a fact that even the engagement between Vidhaan-Anjali has not happened. It was a chance meeting with Vidhaan and Mythili over Mythili's internship which grow into friendship and then something special. They both discovered they have a feeling for each other. It was not planned by either of them. It just happened.
So now Mythili asks the question. What will the society tell about her. Will she be branded as the girl who cheated her best friend and took the guy who was supposed to be bethrothed to Anjali.
I would say valid question and what the society expects Mythili to do is even though she has feelings for him, even though she knows Vidhaan loves her, as per a sanskaari girl sacrifice her love, make Vidhaan understand that for upholding his family's name he has to marry Anjali. Thus pushing 4 people into misery. Vidhaan, herself, Anjali and ofcourse Aakash who loves Anjali. Society's approval is for such sacrifice.
But I liked Mythili and Vidhaan. To be frank quite courageous and practical. They want their life, they know they have not done anything wrong and willing to face the consequence of their actions together. Rather than Anjali who knowing fully well she loves Aakash is going to lead a compromised life with Vidhaan for the sake of her father. She is forgetting the fact that she is not doing herself a favour, neither to Vidhaan.
I had earlier said also. It is Mythili I so very much miss on Indian Television. Not the vamp or the door mat. But a perfectly practical young girl who have a level head on her shoulders. I am once again thankful to AG for giving me such an amazing character in Mythili.
