Raman loves Adi beyond reason. And we all feel its like a weakness for his blue eyed boy.But Raman is a man .Most men want a son.Genetically, socially and to some extent biologically men are programmed that way across the board. In this changing world of changing mind sets and values such matters become intolerable that a boy child should be so much preferred ,loved and longed for. However, if for a moment we were to think the way Ishita loves Ruhi ,her neighbour's child and now her husband's child -- there is no explanation for this love ,she herself has said this in court while describing her relation with Ruhi.Ofcourse this is uncommon. There are cases in the animal world where baby animals like a deer have been abandoned and mighty predator animal mums have shown love and maternal protection to such animals. No explanations are available for these occurrences. I think the love of one being for another sometimes is so strong that it is beyond any reason. And we should just leave it at that. And the endeavour of social pressures at large should be to ensure that the other does not get unfair treatment specially when it involves children. This sort of balance can be achieved by a husband and wife who understand eachother and want to understand eachother more and more.In today's world this is the greatest recommendation for the crumbling institution of marriage because that is the only forum on which a husband and wife can feel a binding force for a better understanding ,if they so wish.
