Let's see how much you cared for your Gauti!!

Hello Gautam Gulati fans,

I've seen some real emotions in this forum from 100s of ardent Gulati fans, which I'm sure was never before for any other BB participant across seasons. However, I strongly feel the emotion for GG is due to network effect- which in simple terms "You do it because others are doing" and this network effect fades away as the time progresses or you get better alternative to cling on to. The quick shot rise ends in a sharp fall of the one show wonder. The new kid on the block would never be able to cash on his popularity, as before he could realize what happened everything just vanishes.

However, time and again GG fans have denied many such theories about their loyalties. I hope I am wrong and you fans genuinely like him and it's not just a fad which will go away in a short while.

I request you all to come to this thread after 6 months i.e. on 1st of August and just show your presence in the half a year celebration of the winning moment of your beloved Gauti. I'll start a poll on that day, while providing the link for it here in this post to enable easy access.

The count of the poll would show, how many of you truly meant when you supported, loved, fought for your hero over the last 4 months. Then GG bashers would have a solid reason to shut their mouth against you and you hero.

In 6 months let's not just do a poll on GG's popularity but also on KT's and PP's popularity. That'll be the real poll! Since even they are supposed to have a massive fan following we'll see where they as well are in 6 months time.

I don't think that's the right way of gauging someone's popularity. Normal insaan bhi hote hai life mein. People get busy with their own lives but that doesn't mean they are not REAL fans and won't support/vote for their celebrities when needed.

I have a couple of celebrities who I have liked for over fifteen years now and some of them have not done a full fledged show in at least five years but I still google their videos/interviews every once in a while to see what they are up to and would support them if they came on a reality show.

Really don't get what you are trying to prove through this poll.
