Yes it was a smart move. I don't think Pritam was going to win it. Better to walk away with something that will benefit the future of his children.

If winner gets 50 lakh, and 25 lakh is right amount for runner up instead 0. I wished Karishma had paid some attention in her math classes

I have no idea what her point was when showing so much anger.. Did she think that like her, his fans were also delusional that Pritam had a chance of winning?

He made the right choice and like he said, people will remember the one who won and one who got something because in all this Tanna actually got babaji ka thullu other than making a mockery of herself.. She deserved that parting shot for slandering Choski's name on 'national TV'..

I think had Pritam wife didn't came in the show, may be Pritam could have given Gautam some competition. Pritam was derailed after that the freeze task, but that also showed her real nature.
