July 19th ARY/August 9th SONY Written Update
Afreen worriedly looks around at everyone and finally spots Kabir talking to some people. She thanks God that he is all right and thinks, I have to tell Kabir right now, that his life is in danger. We see Mazhar approaching Mr. Khan. "Abbu?"
"Yea son?" Mazhar goes, "don't you think there is some jashan type thing missing?" Mr. Khan goes, "its going on na?" Mazhar says, "Abbu, I mean something like a bachelor's party?" Mr. Khan smiles and laughs at his son's idea, and whispers, "what's the plan?"
"Plan?" Mazhar asks, "I have done all the preparations" Mr. Khan shakes his hand and gets closer to him, "What have you done?" Mazhar replies, "I have organized a bachelor's party, and have invited a famous belly dancer" Mr. Khan goes, "Haye! (Jawani yaad aagayi kya? lol)" Then he stops and goes, "Are you crazy? Hadi saab and his whole family is present! And other people that don't like this kind of stuff, no, no no" Mazhar goes, "Abbu! I have organized this party at a private place…neither will anyone find out, nor will they mind" Mr. Khan goes, "Aha! That's my boy, I'm so proud of you!"
Afreen is quickly walking up to Kabir. He introduces her to his friends and then they excuse themselves. Afreen goes, Kabir I have to tell you something very important. Kabir says, "Go ahead?" But Afreen says not here, in private. Kabir goes, "even I have to talk to you about a lot of things in private. But, have patience until the function ends, " Some more of his friends come and they start talking. Afreen thinks, when they stop talking then I can talk. The men leave and Kabir asks her to say what she was going to, but just then Tambreen comes and tells her to go to her mom, and she takes Kabir somewhere with her.
Afreen thinks what should I do, he doesn't want to listen to me, and no one is giving me a chance to explain it to him. It's very important for Kabir to know this. We see Salman standing in a corner watching Nasreen. Mr. Khan tells Mazhar that he has to take his permission from Afreen. Mazhar goes, "Well bhabijaan, you know, before a wedding, the groom's friends organize a bachelor's party for them? So we have organized a small bachelor's party for our bhaijaan in the outhouse. But no one besides dad knows this. And no one should find out either" Kabir goes, "He has done all this without asking me…" Mazhar goes, "it's just a matter of two hours" Afreen goes, "if he has done so much preparations, then you should go." Mazhar goes, "thanks bhabi! You are a sweetheart! Lets go bhaijaan" And he drags Kabir away with him. Mr. Khan heads of somewhere else.
Afreen thinks, its good that Kabir left to the bachelor's party, over there his brother and friends will be there for his protection, and no one can go there in a burkha. But who'd want to take the life of a guy like Kabir? There is little time, I have to find the murderer, he can be in any of these burkhas. We see her passing people in burkhas, and Afreen thinks, so many ladies with burkha, according to the murderer he will be in one too, and he would never show his face. Ugh they are all talking with their burkhas on. She looks at khala who is talking to a lady with a burkha, and asks, these ladies are wearing a burkha, in a house function too? Khala says the ladies are of old thinking, since there are strange men present, they are wearing their burkhas. Afreen asks her to introduce her to them.
Khala introduces her to them and they all take off their face coverings. Afreen thinks I have seen all the burkha ladies faces, the killer isn't here, then where could he be? Her eyes fall upon someone sitting down with a burkha over their head. She quickly goes to that person and says, who are you? Khala comes from behind, Dulhan, I haven't introduced you to her yet, this is our Salma appa. Say salam to her. Salma appa shows her face and Afreen greets her. Dance is going on, Zareen aunty is dancing, and making Naila aunty dace to while she sings "Mayi Mayi mundair pay teri bol raha hai kaga" Everyone is swaying and clapping except Nadira who is just making faces. Khala joins in too and starts dancing and singing.
Afreen turns towards the window and prays that she gets to save Kabir's life. Just then she sees someone pass the window from outside in a burkha. Salman is at the bachelor party thanking everyone for coming and welcoming Kabir. Qurban gives him a drink and he accepts it. He makes a face and Mazhar laughs quietly with Salman. Kabir goes, "Mazhar this is fruit all right, but punch is awesome!" He says punching him in the stomach. They laugh and exchange high fives. Mazhar makes an announcement in which he tells about the malka-e-haseen coming and tells them all to take care of their hearts, and Haseena makes her entrance.
She starts dancing and Kabir goes to Mazhar, "so this is your shararat?" Salman replies, "Kids do shararat, this is qayamat" They laugh. *Maiya Maiya is playing* She is dancing near Kabir and going, "oye hoye, dulha is very shy, haseena likes dulhas like this, who stay fida over their wife at home and go fanaa over raqasa outside." Mazhar spots Afreen and quickly goes towards her. Kabir smiles and follows. Haseena just stares at her. (Her face is covered from below the eyes) Mazhar goes bhabijaan? You here? It's a bachelor's party, girls don't come here. Kabir comes, what happened Afreen? He moves forward and whispers in her ear, missing me there? He moves back and clears his throat, Afreen, come on and watch the dance too.
Salman from behind goes, uh huh, that's not gonna work bhaijaan. Mazhar goes yea bhaijaan, bhabi you promised us that you'd give kabir bhai freedom for us. Kabir goes but before that she has promised me Mazhar, to be with me always. He puts a hand over her hand. Afreen goes, "Uh, actually, I saw someone coming here in a burkha, I was shocked that over here, all this.." Mazhar goes, "bhabijaan, you still don't get it. One minute look here" He points towards Haseena. "Who would've let this lady, wearing these clothes, come here? That's why we used a burkha, hmm?" Salman goes, "So, possessive" Mazhar goes, "bhabjiaan came here because Kabir bhai, with someone else" and makes noises clapping. Afreen shakes her head and they laugh. Mazhar goes, "bhabijaan tell the truth, were you really missing him or did he invite you?" Kabir goes, "Afreen you'll watch the dance too na?"
Afreen goes, "no, this lutf, aap hi ko mubarak" and leaves. Qurban says, only this much dance? Mazhar goes, relax Qurban, relax. Wait. Music! Everyone starts dancing again. Haseena starts dancing over Kabir and then she takes out a knife and starts rubbing it over his shoulder, chest, etc. She moves it up and we hear Afreen scream, "NO!"
