So I guess I was more or less correct in linking MK to mythology's Samudra Manthan. In Monday's epi Maimui clearly tells she cannot take Rudra with her because he has the duty. He has to drink the poison to save Amrit and become Neelkanth.
Actually that dialogue combined with Rudra deciding to play with Maya's feelings for his revenge aspects and the promo where Maya is being thrown is making me do these predictions by linking the whole scenario and connecting it to mythology.
Rudra as of now doesn't trust Maya. Irrespective of Maimui's words to trust Maya he has decided to play with her feelings. Somehow I feel this will go on till some real risk is gonna happen to Maya's life as shown in the promo. He might save Maya but then will decide to go towards his destiny without her as he doesn't want to risk her life.
Then various circumstances can come and I don't know what the poison would be, but then whatever it is , it is going to be dangerous for him. In mythology it is Parvati who holds the poison in Shiva's throat and in MK, most probably Maya will be the one who will come at the right time to protect him and I feel it will be at that point Rudra will truly accept Maya.

good prediction and yes i remember you was the one who said about this show been similar to samundra manthan. even i think later rudra will realise maya been genuine person when he will see how her family is using her now even nana and mama reveal their true colors in precap. and why i feel maya might be rakshak . 😕grayson said in last episode 2 rakashaks are weak and has some weakness and maya weakness is her asthma problem they might take advantage of that later.

Shiva holds poison in his throat. By himself. He takes Parvati's permission to do so. She agrees saying she has confidence in him.

@pasumarthisa.There are 2 versions of it. According to Samudra Manthan it is Parvati who holds the poison in Shiva's throat
Whereas the folklore related to Maha Shivarathri especially down South treats it as Shiva himself holds the poison in throat
So it depends on the story writer which he wants to take as Indian mythology is vast with so many interpretations and analysis done by many people and since Maya is bought as a character I feel the former legend will be used.

^ Yeah.. agree with u on this, Shruti! Maya is an imp part of Rudra's life.. as his life partner.. so she will deffo help Rudra hold poison during Samudra Manthan
