Every heroine refused Durga Rani Singh too which was female oriented...again reason was the same. For an older role he needs to approach someone of the right age and not very popular as popular ones like Kajol/Ash will not do it as SAK's market is down. Or he needs to change the story altogether and get younger folks and exclude Saif too in the process.
I dont see the issue with someone who is very well known like Sakshi or Shweta Tiwari for a role like this. Ekta should be the first ones to give them a good break.
