voting should be allowed in USA & Canada!

i think that voting for indian idol should be allowed in the USA and Canada. if they allow it in UK then why not here either. I know it's called Indian Idol, so they are trying to restrict voting to India only, but we are Indians too, we just don't live in India. Sooooo many people watch the show over here and we would like to vote also. We are also part of the janta. We are also dedicated to the show. I just think it is not fair at all. If they are going to air the show here then we should also be allowed to vote. Or else I think they shouldn't even air the show because it is really disappointing for us because we get soooo attached the show and then we can't even do anything about it to save our favorite contestants. It is totally unfair and I know it is possible for them to allow voting from countries like USA and Canada. I just think that they are not getting votes from the full janta, only a part of it. Indian Idol is supposed to be based on janta, then why don't they let the full janta vote?? and speak their voice and opinions?? It's also unfair to the contestants on Indian Idol because they aren't getting a proper chance since sooo many of their fans aren't even getting a chance to vote for them. The Indian Idol is not getting the full voice of the janta and because of this good contestants are being kicked off. The contestant who will become Indian Idol doesn't totally deserve it because technically he/she is not the janta's choice!

yogsma, why do u think it should be limited to India only? I'm assuming you watch the show too. So why don't you want to be allowed to vote?? After the Indian Idol is chosen, he/she isn't only going to remain in India, but will be known in other countries and will also have fans there too, who will buy the CD and listen to their songs. So we should be allowed to chose who we want to listen too. So what if we don't live in India, we are still Indians!! Why do they even air the show here then....it wastes our times and makes get attached to something we can't even really have.
