Upen and Karishma

These two contestants are by far the most weird. I have always disliked them, but there have been moments where I felt a little bad for them. For example in the start I felt Upen was feeling a little lonely. And even though they did bad things, they usually did something to redeem themselves. When Upen came back, he looked like a changed person to me. Unfortunately, that was not to happen and he reverted to his own self again. I stopped sympathizing with them again, and then they did something that made me dislike them a little less. Soon after, they tarnished their reputation yet again. I don't seem to understand the strategy of these two: do something bad, redeem yourself and do something bad again. Perhaps it is some sort of twisted tactic to keep the show entertaining, but I'm not buying it. For example, Karishma for the most part is portrayed badly (it is futile to mention what she has done to be perceived that way, as the list would go on and on). Right after that, she argues nicely why she let Gautum purchase Nutella through the luxury budget. Then you start to think that she isn't that bad. Unfortunately, you speak too soon and she screws up again. Yesterday, she took a stand against Ali and I was dumbfounded at this strong, sensible version of Karishma. Again, I was wrong and soon after I found her (and Upen) blaming Gautum in front of Ali.
