Boundary for Maya. Is it possible

Ok as most of guessed Balivesh and her nanu has used Maya to get Rudra to Allahabad. Now after yesterday epi I have started doubting nanu's intention also. Whole story of saraswati kundh looks made up and his disease well is he actually sick or pretending and has some other motive.

Anyways nanu is Maya's weakness and Maya will do his bidding. Story given to Maya is that they want to rehabilate Rudra so that nanu's disease can be cured and the girl has believed.

And everyone wants to ensure Maya keeps her boundaries and don't land them into any unnecessary troubles. Yesterday everyone gave the girl lecture on family's honour and how a girl needs to keep it.

Really this is what I call hypocrisy. They can send the girl to get a guy and ask her to use any method to get him, including playing softer tactics. But when they get the guy oh the honour of the family came into place.

I liked the way Maya responded to all. She was quite assertive and told why are you distrusting me and Rudra is my responsibility as I bought him here. Her conscience somewhere is pricking her for lying to Rudra.

But it will not be an easy journey for her as now everyone will keep a hawk eye on Maya's interactions with Rudra. She will be forced to step back if it doesn't meet her family's needs.

So one thing is clear for me yesterday. Maya is indeed like Yogamaya of mythology. She is the illusion. She will be the pendulum that hangs between her family and Rudra. But she will also be Rudra's protective force and her illusion is not for him, but for her own family which they will know mostly at the end only.

After using Maya as 'bait' now the patriarchy is suddenly recollecting their "ghar ki beti" mentality. Waah.

Nanu is definitely showing signs of dark grey - he's probably the master of the deception and Chote Mamu is the weak link who revealed that Rudr is the "diya flickering in the wind"... which may be extinguished any moment... I feel Nanu wants the amrit to cure himself first! and Rudr is the means to his end.

Balivesh was the most cunning of all - he hinted that if the "ghar ki beti" doesnt stay within his limits she would be "thrown away" like that over-salted food he sent away - what a parallel... baapre baap 😲

@happy chappy yes the double standards of patriarchy. When they want women use them in any way. But if they feel the liberated woman is taking her own decision bring nonsense like boundary, honour etc.. No one thinks of the conscience prick the girl is having

@sp10 YogaMaya according to mythology is an inacarnetaion of Goddess Parvathi herself born to save Lord Krishna from the clutches of Kamsa. She is the baby girl born to Yasodha who is swapped with Krishna at his birth. It is said that it is her influence that puts everyone to sleep when Krishna is born and the baby girl cries in the prison when everything is absolutely safe. In other words she creates the illusion that she is the one who was born to Devaki and not Krishna. When Kamsa tries to throw the girl to the wall like other babies of Devaki she shows herself as Goddess Durga and announces Kamsa is an idiot to kill her, while his killer is actually born.

Hence YogaMaya is treated as Shiva's consort and Vishnu's sister in this incarnation.

And if my analysis of MK related to the mythology story Samudra Manthan stands true Shiva, Parvati and Vishnu plays an important role in it. So I feel the lady is given the name Maya so that her love interest remains Rudra ( another name of Lord Shiva) and she is a sister equivalent to whoever plays the role of Vishnu equivalent in MK.

According to mythology Rudra or Shiva is above Maya and Maya cannot affect and Vishnu knows to use Maya for the larger interest of the society. So to bring Maya firmly into the fold of good side showing her the reality in the show also we need a character who is Vishnu equivalent is what I feel.

Thanks for the explanation Sruthi. 😊 I know a little girl called Vishnumaya, which is a name taken out of the Lalita Sahasranamam (1000 names of the Goddess) that is so popular among South Indians! I didnt realise the name had such a story attached to it...

@sp108 Maya is called VishnuMaya, YogaMaya, Mahamaya also though there is some variation in the purpose of illusion but all in all that incarnation of Goddess is the protective force by creating illusion.

Maya is not under complete illusion. She is questioning. She seems to be a very assertive girl with her own views. Yes she loves her nanu, but to think she will go doing what nanu, balivesh want without thinking I would say is a big illusion balivesh and co are having. She has started questioning and she will go on questioning.

The original definition if Maya is that it is the creative aspect of Brahman. When God is unmanifest, he uses Maya as the creative force.

Maya is classified into Vidya Maya n Avidya Maya. Avidya Maya is the one who causes delusion and makes unreal look like real.

Let us see which way this Maya goes. She should have connected the dots by now. Who in her sane mind would want to be used as a bait for bringing a young man. Kind of cheap. And Balivesh said that he will create circumstances that will make Rudra agree to leave Kashi. And yesterday she recollects that statement. So she knows Mai's death was this circumstance and she saw how broken Rudra was. And she doesn't show any remorse.

let's see for today's epi, i haven't found any evil intensions in maya. so balivesh and chote wants to kill rudra. nanu kaa abhitak clear nahi hain intension.
