Lavanya had fired a security guard, Samar Singh, earlier for negligence. Later, he got drunk & came in front of Lavanya's car to yell expletives. He also yelled at her for trying to kill Trisha & Prateek. In a fit of rage, Lavanya hit him with her car, even though Kushan had tried to stop her. Samar was injured & he rolled down a cliff. Lavanya & Kushan fled from the scene, assuming he's dead.
Back at the Grewal house, Lavanya wakes up in the middle of the night to get a blanket from the cupboard. She finds Samar's dead body in there. She rushes downstairs to inform Kushan. Kushan is shocked too but when they arrive in the room, Samar's body is not there. They assume that someone is playing with them. They try to find Samar's body. Lavanya goes to search Bobby's room. Samar is seen standing next to a pillar. Lavanya runs out screaming but when she returns with Kushan, Samar disappears again.
The next morning, Amrita goes to meet Kabir at his office. He hasn't arrived yet so she tries to call him. Varsha is at Kabir's house. When she looks at Amrita trying to reach Kabir on his cellphone, she switches his phone off & says that no one can disturb her & Kabir today.
An officer arrives with an envelope containing Jaanvi's pictures (Kabir had asked the university to send those to police station). Amrita says that she's going to meet Kabir at his house so she can give him the envelope to him. The officer agrees.
Lavanya & Kushan are going out but their car gets punctured on a secluded road. Kushan changes the tire. When he goes to keep the tools back in the trunk, he finds Samar's body there. Lavanya says that they'll have to bury this body once & for all. They decide to drive it to the middle of a forest & bury it there. But on their way, they encounter a police check post. The cop lets them go as he knows Lavanya. But he calls Kabir to inform him about Lavanya's exact location.
At Kabir's house, Varsha tells Kabir that she's in love and she's decided to confess her love to that person finally. She asks him to rehearse the proposal along with her as she's feeling anxious. She starts by holding his hands & telling him how she loves him. Amrita arrives & watches them standing together. She apologizes & keeps the envelope containing Jaanvi's picture on Kabir's table & turns to go. Kabir let's go off Varsha's hands & follows Amrita downstairs. Varsha fumes.
Amrita tells Kabir that Prateek's friend, Vishal, had visited her home to discuss Jaanvi's possible involvement. Kabir says that she's a suspect since she's got a strong motive.
Trisha sends a text to Aditya & invites him to the party.
Aditya is with a senior doctor who orders him to carry a few strong medications to the laboratory. Meghan arrives at his clinic & starts flirting with Aditya. She reads Trisha's text on his phone & tells him to attend the party. Aditya is called by another doctor outside. Meghan grabs a bottle of the medication & decides to use it for her own motives.
At the party, Kabir and Amrita hope that their plan of catching Kushan red handed would be successful. They want to prove that he's not insane. Sonali again provokes Trisha against Amrita.
Aditya & Meghan arrive together. Trisha takes Aditya away to discuss why he's ignoring her. Meghan pours some medicine in one of the drinks & gives it to Trisha. She also tells Trisha that Aditya & her are a couple now. Aditya reluctantly agrees.
Amrita calls Lavanya to know whether she'll attend the party or not. But she doesn't answer.
Lavanya notices a set of muddy footprints all over the living room. She follows them & they lead up to Samar's corpse again. She turns around & notice he's not there.
Back at the party, Meghan dances with Aditya. Trisha drinks from the medication-laced glass.
She goes to Kabir & tells him to stay away from Amrita. When Trisha continues to insult them, Amrita slaps her. Trisha says that she hates her. She runs to her room & Amrita follows her. She apologizes to her for slapping her. Trisha enquires why Kabir is trying to take Prateek's place in Amrita's life. Amrita clarifies her misunderstandings & informs her that he's just a friend who's trying to solve Prateek's case. Trisha apologizes to her & says that she wants to say sorry to Kabir too. She goes to freshen up in the restroom before that, while Amrita goes back to the party. Amrita meets with Kabir & apologizes to him for what Trisha had said earlier.
Kadam arrives at the party from Kabir's house, with the envelope containing Jaanvi's picture. Kabir is shocked to see the picture.
A waiter carries several glasses of champagne. Aditya, Meghan, Sonali & Amrita all pick up one glass each from his tray. But, it's Amrita alone who falls to the ground. Aditya checks her pulse & determines that she's dead. Kabir is shocked.
Precap: One of the waiters tries to stop an unknown individual from escaping the Swaika house. But he gets stabbed.
Kabir matches the fingerprints found on the knife, with which the waiter was stabbed, & finds its Trisha's.
