As you know independence day is nearing and tonight is independence special on Indian Idol I thought this is apt to post here.

1. Do you get emotional listening to patriotic songs?

2. Which is that one (or more) patriotic song which can move you to tears?

3. We all know the songs going to be rendered on the show tonight still which songs would you have preferred and sung by which contestants?

i love the song that Sonu Nigam sang in Bhagat Singh- Mera Rand De Basanti Chola

Sometimes when I miss family back home.

Sandese aate hain from Border - It reminds me of family in India

Chitthi aayi hai aayi hai from Naam- Very touching

Vande mataram rendered by Lata ji- Deepali

Sandese aate hain - Amit Paul

I sometimes do get emotional wit patriotic songs...

I cant choose tht 1 song

kar chale hum fida watan sathiyo..whoever sings this song in Indian Idol..he will be Indian Idol for sure..but nobody sang..so nobody will be Indian Idol.:-)))

Sometimes specially on Independce day or some occasion like Diwali etc

Not into tears but few songs give me little high 😛like Ma tuze salam , Suno suno ye Duniyawalon buri nazar na hum pe dalo sabse aage honge hindustani then there are some slow songs like Sandese , chithhi aaye hai and Hum to hai pardes me etc
