Break ups, black magic, deaths and new entries rule prime time TV

Prime time TV soaps seem to be headed for some action-packed, nail-biting and tearjerking times.

Here's what the soapy platter of Hindi GECs is offering to remote control junkies " deaths of the protagonists ( Balika Vadhu and Ek Rishta...),...

Balika Vadhu

For years, Balika Vadhu has been taking up social causes with considerable elan. Now in a sudden shocking turn of events, the show's much loved male lead, Siddharth Shukla (Shiv) is bidding goodbye to the show after a three-year stint, to pursue his film career. Fittingly, the showmakers have come up with a dramatic and heroic end to his character who will take on a group of terrorists and meet with a tragic death, leaving behind a loving family and a pregnant wife on screen and loads of heartbroken fans off-screen.

The article is now confusing.. Did SS leave BV or did cvs decide to end the character of Shiv 😕 Either be it the 1st or the 2nd one fans have been left heartbroken though if it's the first one it would reduce the pain of those fans who are SS fans too 😊 However it looks unlikely that it's the first one as he had said that he will not abandon tv for films..

Was about to post this one 😛

I think Creatives wanted to change the direction of the story and so they killed Shiv. If according to this article he is quitting to focus on movies they would have replaced him.
