A lot many reports earlier in 2014 claimed that Shah Rukh Khan, who has earlier played hockey coach in YRF's Chak De! India, will play the lead role in Dhyan Chand biopic. Producer-Director Karan Johar, has already bought the rights to make a biopic on the hockey legend, however SRK rubbished the rumours recently and said that he has never been approached for the Biopic and he is clearly not doing it!

Said SRK, "No I am not doing Dhyan Chand Biopic. No one has offered me this role."

When asked if KJo offers him the role, will he give a nod to it? On this Khan replied, "I don't know what the story is. My father had told me a lot about Milkha Singh, Dhyan Chand and Muhammad Ali (the Boxer). So, I have a huge respect for all of them. For me, they've been an inspiration for all these years. So if I am offered the role, I will be thrilled! But for now, nobody has offered me the role!"
