Do You want Dastaan aired on Zindagi TV? - Page 6

I personally don't dislike dastaan but i feel that it will lead to many conflicts if aired in India.Many leople may not like it.So i don't think they should air it on zindagi.

i would love to watch daastan on zindagi...i heard its promos are out..i know some ppl would not like it bt i think india is a secular country so can handle it..its call freedom of expression

Friends, I read all ur views. As a viewer I wud love to watch Dastaan on our TV. Cuz As a viewer Im very unbiased and open-minded. I recall, my father was telling me that when my Great-Grandparents at the time of partiton moved from Lahore To Lucknow, A Muslim helped them till the fullest. He was actually the landlord of the house they were living in.. So thats what counts the most. It totally depends upon from the POV of Viewer. As a viewer if u want to see the negative/positive side thats cumpletly their choice. As far as the PK fiasco is concerned, The revolts are pouring in from Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal but ppl are loving and appreciating it. And the muvie has garnered 300 crore. All, I want to convey is If Dastaan is loved by the ppl then the revolts shudnt matter.. PK was demanded to be banned but it wasnt! And I remember, My Grandmother was once saying that Partition was a curse which was faced by both sides, But this curse was faced by women the most be it this side or that side.. 😊

I want to wtch the shw,,, I knw it has some controversial scenes bt People are not bad the situation is good or bad.

We have learnt so many stories where the neighbors or friends from another community had helped / saved the people . So good and bad people are everywhere in every community . I also heard the stories of my cousin grand father who was big shot in Peshawar and how his Muslim friend arranged the escape route for him and his family and even in Dastaan ,shown the same . Its part of the history can not be erased if we close our eyes .Whatever happens but would not like Zindgi to be entangled because of haters , just we got some fresh air from Zindgi

Agree Neerjaa! Even in My father's generation, One of his Muslim Friend's family moved to Peshawar at the time of Partition.. At that time, My Grandfather Along with My Taaya Ji helped them to shift to Peshawar. I dont think Zindagi will risk anything, It just consists 21-22 Episodes, I guess? So No Worries. Im sure Dastaan will be loved by all and Zindagi will edit sum scenes.. Love Zindagi and wudnt like it to get entagled in all these.

I am from a liberal background and from well educated family . Watching Dastaan Again and while watching there were so many of dialogues which might be offensive to Indians . I did not mind as i am watching with open mind and for me its the truth of history of both sides .But will people listen to what s the other side of point of view .
