The episode begins with the band playing bhangra outside the walia house in celebration of Jassi's wedding. Nandu and Billo come through with Billo informing them that Purab's house was locked. Both Amrit and Bebe are worried, Billo consoles them by saying that maybe he went out to get something for Jassi as a surprise. Amrit is still worried sensing something bad, Billo asks her to relax.
Jassi is in the car with Arman thinking abt Purab's letter. Billo back home, is still trying to convince them that it was nothing. Arman and Jassi both enter the house, The walia family welcomes him and thank him for bringing Jassi home as they feared she wouldnt come coz of her work. Arman slowly starts to apologise to them for not mentioning this earlier but Purab had called to say that he was going to Argentina for some important work but he had assured them that he would be back on time to marry Jassi. The entire family are relieved but then Jassi interrrupts them and asks Arman to stop lying, she starts telling them in tears that Purab would never come back as he had left them forever. The entire Walia family are shattered esp Billo who is in a daze still in shock. Arman too gets a tad emotional.
Mallika meanwhile is still upset that Arman went with Jassi ignoring her . She wonders what happened to Arman lately and is baffled with his behaviour. Pari adds fuel to the fire by saying that maybe Jassi was just an excuse to go somewhere else , maybe to meet someone special. Mallika thinks abt it , lost in her thoughts wondering if Pari was right.
Jassi ends telling them abt Purab and how he had left her days back but she was scared to tell them as they were all so happy with the wedding and she didnt want to make them sad. Billo sitting in the jhoola, starts speaking at last, he asks her why she didnt tell all this earlier, he wasnt upset that Purab didnt tell them anything as he was an outsider afterall but why did she , their daughter,keep them in the dark abt this. Jassi is guilty, Bebe tries to stop him but Billo shouts at them to keep quiet. He continues by saying that he had taught her to walk every step and guide her through every path in her life and today had she grown so big that she didnt felt the need to tell such an important thing to them. Jassi is crying now, realising how much she hurt her parents. Billo slowly gets up to leave telling her that today he realised that she didnt want them anymore and goes out in anger.Arman tries to stop him, but in vain Amrit and Bebe worried request Nandu to follow him and take care of him.
Jassi still in tears thinks abt what her papaji had said.
Mallika once again tries to call up Arman who is driving in his car. He is thinking sadly abt Jassi and her family, determined to help her , so when he gets a call from mallika he cuts it lost in his thoughts.
Arman goes home only to find Mallika waiting for him. He asks her surprised what she was doing there, Mallika tells him angrily that she had to come there coz he doesnt find time to speak to her or pick up her calls. Arman tries to apologise and tells her that he was caught up in some problems, Mallika gets up and continues that she knew that coz both her and his problem were the same, that chashmist chuhiya Jassi . Arman gets angry and asks her to shut up much to her shock. Mallika is angry that he shouted on her for that Jassi when Arman tells her angrily that he was with Jassi coz Purab broke the engagement and had left her forever. Mallika is shocked and tells him that she was sad that it happened but then asks him why he was there for her and if she didnt find any middle class shoulder to cry on. Arman gets really angry and snaps at her asking if she had atleast some humanity left, when a person was going through so much sadness. He tells her that he would help Jassi coz in such a state , she needs a friend and he would all that is necessary to help him irrespective of whether she liked it or not. Mallika snaps at him back by syaing that he could very well go ahead and wipe Jassi's tears as she knew that he would never care for her and leaves.
Amrit is crying telling Billo that it was all thier mistake. Billo tells them that it wasnt their mistake but his who thought that thier daughter would share everything with him. Jassi is overhearing their conversation. Amrit once again tells him that it was their mistake coz inspite of what they felt as parents, one cant ignore the fact that the society feels that she was having a flaw and whether they like it or not, they should accept it. Jassi is in tears, she goes up to her room only to find her bebe waiting for her. Jassi runs up to her to cry her heart out in her arms.
Next morning, both bebe and Nandu try to cheer billo and Jassi but in vain. Both refuse to have their breakfast and Jassi leaves for her office. Arman calls up Jassi's house to find out how she was, Bebe informs him that Jassi had already left for her office and that too without eating her breakfast and it was the first time this was happening. She also tells him that Jassi was not the same, she was depressed and shattered coz her papaji wasnt speaking to her.
Jassi enters her cabin to find a dabba . She opens it to find parathas from her house. Arman peeps out from behind the chair greeting her telling her how delicious the parathas looke and she should finish it before he does. He asks her sweetly to eat her breakfast esp the ones made by her bebe , Jassi refuses to eat saying that she had dissapointed her family and maybe they are right and she did have a flaw thats why Purab left her. Arman feels sad and asks her to not say things like that , Jassi tells him sadly that her papaji didnt have his breakfast today and wasnt even speaking to her. Arman has a lump in his throat seeing her like this and calls up Walia houe. He puts the phone on speaker greeting Billo and telling him that Jassi wanted to speak to him. Jassi is abt to speak when Billo slams the phone aftre saying that he didnt wantt to speak to her . The episode ends on Jassi' shattered and grief stricken face while Arman looks on sadly.
Comments: good episode, the emotions were too sad. Billo was excellent in that scene shattered that his daughter had hidden such a news from him. Nandu was soo sweet trying to cheer them up with bhangra band. Arman was sweet again , he felt the pain endured by Jassi. His replies to Mallika were awesome. The best part abt JJKN was that it was all so natural esp the interaction between the family .
