All the negativity surrounding his acts of cruelty to Ishani...somehow today's episode just negated it all for me. Yes, it in no way justifies the brutal bangle and the blood scene, but today I saw RV really hurting.
He cried the whole night in a kota, drinking.
Think about it. All he's done for 17 years is love Ishani. Given it his all, given her his everything - heart, mind, soul, and now, as RV, his money and status.
Learning something so devastating about someone who is the centre of your universe can shatter you. The world must have been swept from under his feet. When all he's done is believe in love, and the supposed act of betrayal shows him that his love will never, ever be enough to even have Ishani's loyalty, of course he would shut down. It's self preservation. He's only human, after all, and both him and Ishani were victims of circumstance, or rather, Chirag's malice and plotting.
It's probably dramatic, but i think, now it's only a matter of time before RV drops his mask he puts on around Ishani. Since he's revealed the truth to Ritika, she's going to do everything in her power to get them together.
I loved her today. Her friendship is the unconditional kind, and she's just the sort of person everyone loves.
The thing he said in today's episode as well as Shakti saying it in an interview : Any person who can love so much, his hatred will also be as intense. He loves her, he can't help it, but he hates the fact that he does, he doesn't hate her, according to me. It's not possible for him.
