So I was looking through this old Miss Malini article about controversies relating to Aish.

...And I was just wondering how much truth there is to the Aish-Big B affair rumour.

5. The Bachchan Rumors.

Probably the craziest rumor I've heard so far is that she had an affair with Big B. before she married little B. now whichever Bollywood conspiracy theorist came up with this one has got to be one sick puppy. I can believe a lot of things, but I can't believe that. Eeks.

Years and years ago, I believe during Mohabbatein AB had said that he wished he were young enough to romance Ash on screen but since he's old he'll have to settle for playing her father. Another incident they met up for a press conference (either charity function or IIFA related) and greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek. When reporters asked for another kiss AB happily obliged and kissed her other cheek. I think once it became clear that Abhishek and Aishwarya were dating some sick minds just couldn't help themselves.

AB has always been very complimentary of his costars looks. He talked about how beautiful Vidya Balan is during Eklavya. And he's also very complimentary of Deepika now that they are shooting Piku.

Disgusting. Reminds me of the time when Big B announced Aish was preggers and some members were saying how's it's Big B's baby. Utterly disgraceful and sick-mentality considering how people in India view a FIL and Bahu relationship. Big B and Jaya B have always talked about how she's like another daughter to them. Leave to some people to take things out of context and twist into something really effed up.

Remember how ppl thought Abhi-Riteish were gay and having an affair. Both are now happily married to wonderful spouses and happy fathers. Ughhh! These conspiracies and theories. 😒
